    Can Demon WP insecticide be used for treating termites?
    A

    Demon WP is labeled to treat for termites to apply to voids and galleries in damaged wood and in spaces between wooden memebers of a structure and between wood and foundations where wood is vulnerable. However, we advise to look at our guide on how to get rid of termites to help further assist you in providing a proper treatment for elimination.

    Can Demon WP Insecticide be used on a red oak tree open wound infested with carpenter ants?
    A

    Demon WP is labeled for carpenter bees and can be used on trees. This product does leave a residue so be mindful of that.

    We generally recommend using Dominion 2L for carpenter ants in trees. This can be used directly on the tree or as a soil drench.

    Can I use Demon to spray a room my African grey is in?
    A

    We would recommend to remove your African Grey from the area being treated with Demon WP Insecticide. Allow for 1-2 hours or until the treated area has dried to bring the African Grey back into the the treated area.

    Is it possible to remove effects of Demon WP after spraying in kitchen cabinets?
    My husband sprayed in an enclosed cabinet where pots and pans are stored. Now I read that Demon WP should not be used inside cabinets. What should we do before placing pans back in cabinets?

    Demon WP Insecticide can be taken up with hot water and soap. After the area has dried, you can replace the cooking supplies.

    Will the grass that is sprayed with Demon WP harm a rabbit that feeds on it?

    When used as directed on the product label, the small diluted amount of Demon WP that is left on grass after an application has dried should pose no threat to rabbits even if he/she eats a bit of grass that has been treated.

    Can Demon WP be used through a misting/spraying system?
    The misting system we want to installl about 400 ft long and has misting spray attachments every ft or so and a 1/2 hp pump. The system is County Line from tractor supply. It's going in crawl space that is difficult to get to spray regularly with a handheld sprayer.

    Demon WP should NOT be applied in a mister, misting system or fogger only a hand pump sprayer or backpack sprayer. We do carry products that can be applied for this application.

    Will Demon WP affect chickens or be in their eggs if they eat bugs killed by it?
    I have big black water roaches outside under the deck... if they die from the Demon and the chickens eat them,, will they have poison in the eggs.. or will it hurt the chickens? Thanks

    No, the Demon WP would not have any effect on the eggs produced by the chickens. There is such a small amount that would be in their system that kills them it would be eliminated by the time the chicken would come in contact with the roaches. The chickens would however need to be completely out of the area while you are spraying the Demon WP initially and until the product completly dries.

    Is it possible for Demon WP to be transferred through the AC into my home?
    I have very sensitive skin. My fiance sprayed the outside of the house 24 hours ago with Demon WP.We also have a portable AC window unit (the kind with the hose that sticks out the window). It blows directly on me at night. I am worried that the powder will be sucked up by the AC unit and blown onto me. Yes I know this sounds ridiculous but I get severe rashes if simple hand soap is not properly rinsed off my skin so I do not want to chance something even harsher that kills live organisms. Is it a possibility the powder could be transferred and blown into the home via AC? Thank you!

    Provided the product was used according the the product labeI instructions it would be highly unlikely as Demon WP is mixed with water and then sprayed outdoors. There should be no interaction with your AC venting in order for this to be able to get indoors like that.

    Will Demon WP hurt my horses?
    I have really bad fire ants in my pasture .

    Demon WP is not labeled to be used in pastures. Extinguish Fire Ant Bait is labeled to be used in pastures where horses graze.  You can use this product on pastureland, however you must remove all grazing livestock for at least 48 hours after application. Then they can return to the land after 48 hours.

    Is Demon WP safe to use on my boat house and dock?
    A

    Yes, Demon WP is safe for use in and around your boat house and/or dock. Be sure not to use this product in areas that will come in contact with water. If it comes in contact with water, it will harm the invertebrates there. You will use 1-2 packets per gallon of water.

    Will Demon WP work for ants?
    A

    Demon WP will kill just about any insect, including all types of ants. However, Demon WP will only kill the ants that walk over where you treat around your home. It will not take care of the queen and other ants back where the colony is. The key to ant control is to use a product that will not kill the ants around your home on contact like Demon WP will, but a product that they will take back to the colony and kill the queen and other ants at the source.  Our most popular product for this is Termidor SC. Or, you can use ant baits that the ants will eat and take back to the colony.

    Is Demon WP recommended for silverfish?

    Demon WP Insecticide would be a great product for silverfish.  It should be applied once a month outside and once every 3 months inside.  We have a great video that shows where to spray for perimeter and interior spraying.     Can Demon WP be used for bark beetles?
    I would like to protect our ailing oak from further bark beetle damage. Can I spray the trunk once per month in the dry season, May - October? I'd guess they would only come in contact with it when they land or when they emerge (which is too late). Is there a better product, perhaps more of a repellent?

    Unfortunately, Demon WP is not labeled for bark beetles. We would recommend a product like Tengard SFR One-Shot Termiticide. Per the product label to prevent an infestation to trees and woody ornamentals, you would thoroughly spray the bark but not to the point of runoff.

    How do I clean my cabinets after using Demon WP?
    My hubby sprayed the kitchen backsplash and countertops for ants. I have used soap and water, but I am still getting a yellow tinted paper towel while drying. How do I clean Demon from my countertops and backsplash?

    When using Demon WP on any surface you can use soap and water to get the product off of where it was applied. This should be sufficent to get the residue off. If you are having issues we suggest contacting the product manufacturer Syngenta at 866-796-4368.

    Do I put the closed package of Demon WP in water and will it dissolve the package?

    There are 4 water soluble packets in an envelope of Demon WP. You will dissolve the packet as is in the water for application after removing from envelope.
