    Will Demon WP kill insects I don't want to kill?
    If I spray my patio area for tree roaches, mosquitoes and wasps, will I also unintentionally kill butterflies and bees?
    A

    Demon WP is not really selective, so unfortunately it is possible that butterflies or bees could be harmed if they were to come into contact with a treated area.  To minimize this risk, it is recommended to apply in the early morning or in the evening when these insects are least likely to be foraging, and not to apply to any flowering vegetation.

    Will Demon WP kill carpenter ants?
    A

    While Demon WP Insecticide will kill carpenter ants, it will not allow you to kill the colony, which is necessary to eradicate a carpenter ant infestation.  Our Indoor Ant Kit contains the necessary products to eradicate an entire colony of carpenter ants indoors.  Please take a moment to review our How to Get Rid of Carpenter Ants Guide for great information on getting rid of carpenter ants.

    How long after cleaning with bleach should we wait to treat area with Demon Insecticide?

    You would want to make sure the area you are treating with Demon WP Insecticide is clean and completely dry before applying the product.

    You should not apply Demon WP when you are experiencing any freezing temperatures per the product label.

    Is Demon WP harmful animals such as dogs and cats if sprayed on baseboards in the house for roaches etc??
    A

    Demon WP is safe to use around children and pets when mixed and used correctly. Keep children and pets out of the area until the application has had enough time to completly dry, once dry it is safe to resume normal activity. With most professional products such as Demon WP, once you mix it with water it is only strong enough to kill small insects.

    How do I mix Demon WP?
    A

    1 envelope of Demon WP contains 4 packets.  You will need to use 1-2 packets per gallon of water.  The packets are water-soluble and will automatically dissolve when placed in water.

    Why are Demon WP and Cyper WP no longer available in bulk powder?
    A

    Demon WP and Cyper WP in the 1-lb. jars have been discontinued by their manufacturers. We do carry Cyper WSP that comes in water soluble packets in a 1-lb. pail.

    Will Demon WP kill book lice in books and papers?
    I had some books stored in a plastic sterling tub during the summer in Ga. Now, they are infested with book lice. I sprayed Demon WP inside a trash bag, added said books and papers, and sealed the bag. Will this likely kill adult and hatchling book lice if I leave it sealed for a month?

    Is it okay to spray Demon WP on Limestone blocks skirting around your house?
    Does it break down the material of the Limestone block

    Demon WP should not damage limestone or any rock or other surface. Demon WP does leave a visible white residue on darker surfaces, but that should not leave any permanent stain. We recommend testing a small area first if you are concerned about this residue.

    A day after your house is sprayed with Demon WP Insecticide, what if a child drops food on the floor and then eats it? Is it poisonous to them?

    We do not recommend that your child eat the food that fell into the treated crevice that was recently treated with Demon WP Insecticide. Have the product container, label or Safety Data Sheet with you when calling Syngenta (800-888-8372), a poison contol center or doctor, or going for treatment if needed.

    How long does Demon WP take to kill a fly if it perched on a sprayed surface?
    if a fly perch on a sprayed surface that has been treated or sprayed with demon wp,how long will it take for the fly to die?
    A

    Depending on the size and health of the fly and the amount of Demon WP it contacts, it generally would take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours for an insect like a fly to die after contacting an area treated with Demon WP. For a very quick kill for flying insects, we recommend Maxforce Fly Spot Bait or Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait.

    Can Demon WP kill red flour beetles?
    Bought a fairly new rv, great condition. Seem to have a red flour beetle battle on my hands. No signs of food/grain, even in floor ducts. Cleaned, vacuumed every cabinet, floor, surface, nook, cranny and duct. They come back a day later to no avail. Rv is in new location so local infestation/infiltration not relevant. Is it possible they are in the interior paneling?? How do I eradicate these buggers without ripping my rv apart? Help!

    Demon WP is not labeled to control pantry pests, although it would likely kill any that contacted it. For the best control of a stored product pest such as the red flour beetle, it is really essential to keep looking for and to locate that initial source to get full control of the infestation. You can then vacuum and clean infested areas, treat cracks and crevices with a residual insecticide, and use traps for the adult insects. Gentrol Complete is a great spray to use since it includes both insecticide and Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) in one product. You can use GreenWay Pantry Patrol Traps for a pheromone trap.

    Flea infestation retreatment
    We have a really bad flea infestation in our home. So much so, we have moved out temporarily. How often should I reapply Demon WP? I have heard multiple answers...anywhere from 3-4 days to 4weeks. Flea cycle is 7-10 days. Please advise. We would like to move back home ASAP. Thank you.

    Demon WP Insecticide cannot be used inside the home for fleas, only outdoors as directed on the prouct label.   Fleas treatments with approved products are generally done every 2 weeks with lots of vacuuming in between.

    Why is my Demon WP spraying drying light brown?
    When I spray it in my baseboards, it is drying light brown instead of white. I cleaned out my sprayer, but it still did it.

    Demon WP Insecticide could leave a white residue behind when mixed as directed that is noticeable on darker surfaces, how was the product mixed?  At what rate please?  Was the water clear before mixing?

    I am pregnant. Can we use Demon WP safely in our house for cockroaches coming in our AC ducts?

    Demon WP Insecticide can be used around your pregnant women. However, we recommend that you stay out of the treated area until it has completely dried. It is a crack and crevice or spot treatment for residual and contact pest control. It should not be sprayed in air ducts.
