    Spraying Demon Wp product indoors, is there any type of areas it can damage since it is water based?
    such as floors, painted wood etc.

    Demon Wp is not labeled as a broadcast spray. It should not pose any damage except for the possibility it can leave a slight white residual on darl surfaces. Apply as a coarse, low pressure treatment to areas where these pests hide, such as baseboards, corners, storage areas, closets, around water pipes, doors and windows, attics and eaves, cabinets, sinks, furnaces, stoves, behind and under refrigerators, the underside of shelves, drawers and similar areas. Pay particular attention to cracks and crevices; also see Outdoor Surface Use.

    Could we use demon in our landscape and around the home for a heavy grasshopper problem?
    we are having a horrible grasshopper problem and was wondering if we could use demon?
    A
    Demon WP is not labeled to control grasshoppers, so although you could spray it in landscaping for general insect control, the label doesn't state that it would work on this pest. A better option would be something Talstar which contains Bifenthrin. You should start applications before the grasshoppers have a chance to hatch. You should thoroughly spray your lawn and water in the application with about a .25 in of water to help the bifenthrin get past the thatch layer and into the soil where grass hoppers actually develop. If you already have grasshoppers you can use Talstar P at the highest usage rate of 1 oz of product per 1 gallon of water for the quickest knockdown.

    We just ordered 2 bottles of the Dominion 2l termiticide concentrate, will this work on earwigs?
    We just bought a house and have noticed a lot of earwigs. We bought this product due to the fact our neighbors have termite traps out and we have noticed some damage on our siding. We will do outside trenching to insure we have no problems in the future.

    Dominion 2L is not labeled to treat Earwigs. By trenching and applying Dominion 2L, you will have treatment and prevention of Termites for up to 7 years. To treat Earwigs we recommend using a product like Demon WP, that can effectively be used indoors and out for treatment of Earwigs.

    What is the residual effect of Demon on coastal grass?
    I would like to spray 45 acres for termite treatment and grasshoppers. How long should I wait before grazing cattle on the treated field?

    Demon WP Insecticide is not labeled to be applied to areas where animals graze. To answer your question the residual of Demon Wp is 30 days. We recommend contacting your Local Cooperative Extension Office to find out what product would be safe and effective for you to use in your area. Once you have been given a recommendation, we can be sure to ship those products to you.

    What am I doing wrong?
    I used this product with an IGR. The first time I used 1 package to 1 gal of water (I also added 1 oz of IGR). I doubled both the next day when I came back and the house was still infested with fleas. We are moving into this home in the next few weeks and I can't seem to kill the fleas. I have fogged it 3 times and used Demon WP/IGR mix twice. What am I doing wrong?

    Using that much chemical is what you are doing incorrectly. Fleas did not appear in the unit over night in the numbers you are seeing them, so expecting to get rid of them overnight is unreasonable. Demon is not recommended for use indoors for fleas as you can only treat baseboards with the product and not all the areas where they will hide. While the Demon is allowed to be mixed 2 scoops or 2 packets per gallon, using more IGR than what is labeled to be used is only wasting product. You should only be spraying every 2 weeks for fleas with both an approved insecticide for indoor use for fleas and an IGR. Fogging will only kill the adult fleas that are jumping around while the fog is going off. Foggers are only effective while they are active and leave behind no residual and will not penetrate flea eggs. Please review our tutorial on How To Get Rid of Fleas Indoors to effectively, accurately and safely treat for fleas. This will give you the best idea of what to do to get rid of the fleas as quickly as possible. Keep in mind that even using the right products, the right way it can take weeks to months to completely eliminate a flea infestation if its heavy to catch all the life cycles.     What happens to insecticide after mixed 24 hours
    I read one of your Q&A that the insecticide should be used w/i 24 hours of mixing. I put a packet in a gallon container, mix & then fill a smaller sprayer and spray my apt as needed. It's been sitting around for over a day. Will it still be effective? Thank you

    Using Diluted Demon Wp after it has been mixed 24 hours would not be advised. The reason being is that the active ingredient will start to break down and cause the solution to become less effective.

    Can I feed grass clippings to horses/goats after it has been sprayed with Demon WP?
    Hi, I want to spray my lawn for bugs...fleas, ticks etc. Is it safe to mow the grass and feed the grass clippings to our horses and goats. Of course the lawn will be pre-mowed and a week later mowed for the animals.

    We would not recommend feeding any of the clippings to animals after the area has been treated with Demon WP.

    What is the difference between Tempo Ultra WP and Demon WP
    Which is better for stink bugs and spiders?
    A

    Demon WP and Tempo Ultra WP are both synthetic pyrethroids and work in much the same fashion and either one would be very effective for stink bugs and spiders.  Demon WP is actually the  product we sell in our overwintering kit for stinkbugs, ladybugs and cluster flys, it would also do a great job for spiders.

    Is the Demon Wp residue safe to touch?
    We sprayed our screened in porch with Demon and the white residue is on surfaces that are commonly touched by my 1 and 3 yr olds and 3 month old puppy? I wanna make sure it is safe for them to be touching the areas before I let them play back out there. We had to spray because of black widows.

    Although, Demon WP works great on treating for spiders. We do not recommend applying it in that area where the kids and pets would be in very close contact. You can wash the residue off with hot water and soap.

    The vegetables are not safe to eat after it has come in contact with Demon WP. Please discard any edible vegetation that has been treated.

    Will Demon WP kill bugs in my yard that moles live on?
    A
    While the Demon WP is a great insecticide and covers a wide range of insects, it would not be our best recommendation for control of grubs and other insects the moles would feed on. A better option would be Merit Granules which is our top grub and lawn infesting pest control product. Please see the Merit Product Label for usage rates and instructions. Also, keep in mind that while eliminating the food sources of the moles in your lawns may temporarily deter them, it is rare that this method alone will eliminate them from your yard. You almost always must use a true Mole Control Product to completely get rid of your problem.

    Spray Friday, exterminator come Monday?
    If I spray Demon WP on Friday can the exterminator come and spray a different product on Monday, or would that render the products useless?

    I would be wary of mixing chemicals. Over-applying this nature of chemical in your home can be a health hazard as well. You may want to wait two weeks before having someone come and spray.

    What is the best product for spiders
    I have a sever spider problem. When I walk into room there is alway web that hit your face even next day.The renters in the home say they they are falling off ceiling and that they have been bitten often. They are moving out of the home so if the product is somewhat toxic for a couple day it should be no problem.

    One of our best products for spider control is Demon WP. Dilute it in a gallon of water and apply as a spray in the cracks, corners & crevices, and the perimeters of the rooms. Also, spray around the exterior as well. Spiders tend to like harboring in boxes or other cluttered areas. Consider the attics, basement, and closets for treatment as well.

    I used DemonMax for ticks in my house - cracks, floorboards, etc. why am I still seeing tiny ticks!
    I used 1oz for a gallon of water and added a growth regulator. I sprayed every room after vacuuming and carpet cleaning. I washed my dogs with a tick shampoo and I sprayed my couch as well....why are they still here? Will this product work?
    A
    How long it takes the ticks to die after they come into contact with a treated area will depend on a number of factors. It will depend on the maturity of the tick as well as how long they stayed on the treated area, how long it has been since the area was treated and the concentration that was used to treat the area. Demon Max is a great product for tick control - and you used the correct dosage. Typically it can take anywhere from a couple of hours to a day or so for them to die. It can take several weeks for you to stop seeing ticks indoors because the ticks like to stay hidden which also means they could be staying out of treated areas and eggs may hatch out prolonging the infestation. We recommend doing follow up treatments every two weeks at the highest usage rate of 1 oz of product per gallon of water until you do not see any ticks.

    Is Demon WP better than pesticides at Lowes?
    I have been told that water soluable pesticides dry up quickly and then are no longer effective

    Demon WP is a great product and is a professional strength product that will last about 1 month outdoors and about 3 months indoors. It does typically take up to 24 hours for insects to die after contacting treated areas. We do not have a way to compare it to products at Lowes as we are not sure what they carry.

    We keep honeybees but are having a huge scorpion problem in the house. Should I spray only inside?
    I have not seen any honeybee land on house but we do have flowering plants around the house. I really need the scorpions gone as I have a two year old. We also have ant beds with no flowering plants around them and I would like to use the demon there if advisable.

    You can use the Demon WP indoors and outdoors but to protect the honey bees you should limit the outdoor applications to those places without flowering plants or other places where the bees are known to forage.
