I have been using this product for a couple of months now and I have seen a great reduction in the drain flies. Now if only they would make something for the vents.

as soon as I took the bottle out of the package it came in...why all the drain flies left..only kidding...vey good products...easy to follow directions...reasonably priced..

A year or so ago I had drain flies in one of our showers. I tried different products which did not work. I then used DF 5000, and the flies were gone.

This product delivers as promised. We had a pretty bad infestation of drainflies before we understood what they were. After the 5 day course of treatment, they were nearly all gone. Several weeks later we see the occasional odd fly but we don't know the lifespan of these things so we'll wait and see. May need to retreat. The company was very prompt with delivery of the product. 5 stars for DMOPC !!

Great product. Had a few flies for the past few months here and there. Used this as directed, they are gone. I used this product 4 years ago with the same issue, but a lot more flies. Took care of the issue back then as directed. I have not kept up with the regular maint. Still, 4 years later no flies, not bad!

Seems to work good. Didn't have a big problem, but haven't noticed any since using it for the week. Will be using once a month as instructed until I use all the remaining contents of the bottle. Kinda smells, but not bad. It's tolerable.

Drain flies come into my home twice a year during season changes (winter to spring, summer to winter). A week of treatment with DF5000 always runs them away!

After pouring just a few ounces, per the instructions on the bottle, I have had NO MORE sewer flies!! I would definitely recommend this product and will be buying more (if it's even necessary). I didn't even have to do the full week. I noticed they were gone after the first day.

The product did what it said it would. We are continuing to use it after the fact to help keep the drains clear.

It really worked. I have finally won the battle with the flies. What a pesky, annoying problem. Wish I had found this product earlier. I ordered a case and plan to do the follow up every month as suggested. I can't tell you how thankful I am to eradicate this problem from my kitchen in time for the Christmas holidays.

This company has always shipped my order on the day after I order, and I receive it two days after that. AWESOME service! Thanks, DoMyOwnPestControl.com! In the past, about five days of treatment with the DF5000 did the job, but not this year. This season, I had a MUCH harder time getting rid of the gnats because they seemed somewhat unimpressed by or immune to the DF5000 this time, so I had to use alternate measures after going through two bottles of DF5000.

We returned from a week's trip to find a shower drain infested w/drain flies for the 1st time. Common-sense remedies (boric acid powder, "Liquid Pipe Snake") didn't work (after several weeks), so I found myself here. Reading the majority of good reviews, I thought I couldn't go wrong. I followed the treatments exactly - but after 5 treatments, the shame of drain flies was back. I had enough left for a couple more days, so I figured that would do it. Nope, they were back in full force - "eco-friendly" cleaning means NOTHING to gnasty gnats! At my final straw, I decided to try an insect spray; trouble was that spraying DOWN into a drain doesn't work, when the can needs to be upright to spray! So, I made a cup out of foil, went outside (to avoid the aerosol smell) & sprayed some "OFF! with DEET" in the cup (2 tbsp or so) & poured it around the perimeter of the drain. Next day - NO FLIES!! I did one more treatment as insurance, but an oz. of DEET was worth 2 lbs. of the DF5000 "cure". The moral? If you want a VERY expensive eco-friendly-drain-fly-house-cleaner, buy DF5000. If you want RID of the DFs, get some cheap "Liquid Plumber Gel" & a can of "OFF!". Clean the drain well, rinse w/hot water, & pour in the "OFF!" to sit overnight. I'm all for eco-friendly, but I'm not coddling drain flies. DR5000 is a TOTAL waste of money, if you REALLY want rid of these horrid pests.

Had drain flies reproducing inside tub overflow. Bought and poured 4-oz down overflow. Haven't seen a drain fly since and it's now been 3-weeks.

In two days, 90% of flies were gone. Thereafter, I treated drains every other day, because it takes the little buggers at least two days to produce new adults. They were gone after two weeks. Hint: don't pour down the drain, dribble it around the periphery so it oozes down the inside of the drain pipe.

I bought two quarts foe my drain flies in the rental I just moved in to and the only thing i see best is it cleaned the toilet well but still have drain flies so it my mind its a good cleaner but not for drain flies,no way......

It got rid of most fruit flies (not drain flies) in two days, but they returned. Do not neglect weekly maintenance treatments. I recommend two bottles for a double kitchen sink -- one for the first week (2 oz per drain is enough), one for maintenance. If bathroom sinks are involved, get four bottles.

After reading about DF5000 I figured i would try it! I receieved my order in just a few days and started trying it right away. It has worked great! I still have a few of them around but it is so nice to have the majority of the flies gone. The remaining ones are slowly going away as well. I am hoping that in the next week my house will be completely rid of the pests, I think this is a great product at a great price! Well worth trying!

This stuff works!! I had these bugs coming from both bath tub drains in my house. I had never heard of these things before and they sneak up on you. One day you have a couple, soon after, a lot and they keep coming. I ordered DF 5000, followed the directions, and voila - these nasty things were gone. I really appreciate the video for the instructions and how quickly I received this in the mail. I will follow up once a week for a while then monthly as suggested. Thank you so much. I have my house back!!!

After just a few weeks of using the drian fly gel they were gone. I used it as specified - every day for one week and then once a week thereafter. Cheap solution to a real nuisance.

Thought I had drain flies, but maybe not. Had to call Pest Control who thought flies were coming from dried flowers. Going to have ozone treatment. Not really the fault of the product, just not the right choice for this job

In our basement bathroom drain, "sewer" flies were present. The basement from that point onwards had tons of flies all over the place and had a musky smell to it. I read the details of the flies on the website and it was very helpful. I bought the case of 12 quarts, and applied about 4 of the bottles as instructed. The fly situation is completely under control now and the musky odor is slowly going away. The product is safe and doesn't have an odor at all. I had called a pest exterminator prior to this and was not happy. This product did the trick and more. Highly recommend the product.

After trying bleach, ammonia, vinegar, drain unclogger, and, desperate now, kerosene........finally found this product online. Waited by the mailbox every day until it arrived. And, yes, it worked much better than anything else. My only suggestion would be to buy 2 bottles, as one came close to totally eliminating the problem, but if I were to have this problem again, I would buy 2 bottles just to be sure that every last drain fly was gone.

I have been trying to get rid of my drain fly situation for the last three years with no results. I found your site and gave it a try as nothing has worked so far. It has been a month since the application was applied in the two affected drains and there has been no more drain flies. Usually the flies return after two weeks, so I am declaring the flies are gone. Thanks so much for creating a real destroyer of these aggravating flies.
