Do you have any traps which work for both meal moths & fruit flies?

I bought a moth trap from you several months ago & it worked very well, however now I need a new one. Would like to use one trap for both bugs if possible, otherwise please recommend something, fruit flies are coming back already this yr.

Answer:

Other than possibly using a small fly light like our FlyWeb Fly Light we are not aware of any traps that would lure both fruit flies and indian meal moths at the same time. If the traps you used for the moths worked well before then we would suggest sticking with those and checking to make sure all infested materials have been eliminated and crevices of cabinets and pantries treated with a residual insecticide for any larva left behind.  For fruit flies you can use one of our traps like the Natural Catch Plus Fruit Fly Trap and spray crevices with an IGR like Gentrol IGR Aerosol to stop the reproductive cycle of both the fruit flies and the moths. Fruit flies will breed in any areas where there is organic build up or excess moisture so try to keep things as dry and clean as possible to help keep them from becoming a large problem.
