Well built heavy duty trap that does not catch anything. Have set & reset and baited traps over and over

I ordered a number of these trips. Was very disappointed with them. The trigger pin wire length is too short and the trip is very difficult to set and keep set. Will not purchase again

It worked as said, after the first trap filled, the next one I left out and the animal tracked down his friend and found the cage and went in. We let him lose in the park.

Works great! Trapped & relocated 3 squirrels that had moved into my attic. The only downside is that I had to rebend the upper catch that holds the door open. Kind of a pain to get at it in order to bend it.

For 4 days I put a new cracker behind the trip plate. Each day the cracker was gone but the door was still wide open. I stuck small dowels through the cage so the critter would have to squeeze over the trip plate. That didn't work either. The fact that absolutely no literature comes with the device is odd and only encourages people to be more dissatisfied. Literature could include some strategies and limitations of the device. I will say that the manufacturer has resolved the previous issue of sharp points from the wire.

This trap worked great. Once I figured out how to set it ( instructions were missing from box), it worked like a charm. We caught the squirrel in a few days and problem solved.

Slick paint job! Had to re-adjust the spring mechanism to have it operate correctly. also sharp edges, did not appreciate one bit. But all that aside, I'll see if it performs!

There are squirrels running around my yard and in my attic while snarling at me because the trap hasn't yet caught a single one of them. The high rating given to this trap is very misleading.

The squirrels take the peanuts but the trap doesn't close.

I purchased and used but have not caught anything yet. As it turns out it was a large possum that was escaping from my larger trap instead of a rat. The trap is well made and solid. The trigger seems a bit stiff but can't say for sure if it is since nothing has entered it for me to know.
