Product Overview

The Eco-Fast Digital Thermometer is a battery-operated accurate digital thermometer that is fast and safe.  It is ideal for use for horses and other pet animals. Reads up 108-degrees Fahrenheit. Operated with a 55V button size battery (included) that can run for more than 200 hours of continuous use. This thermometer has an easy-to-read liquid crystal display of 3.5 digits and features a beeper. Has an approximately 30-60 second read time for another operation.

Details

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

  1. Some pets may not like to have their temperature taken. Calm the pet before use and if necessary have someone also hold the pet steady.
  2. Disinfect the tip of the thermometer and let dry. Then apply petroleum jelly or a water-based lubricant.
  3. Press the on/off button. The display will quickly read 188.8F.
  4. After releasing the button, the display will show L F with the F flashing.
  5. Lift the tail and insert slowly using only the metal tip for the temperature. Further insertion may cause harm to the pet.
  6. Once the F stops flashing, usually within 30-60 seconds, the correct temperature will be displayed and the thermometer will beep.
  7. Remove the thermometer and read the temperature.
  8. The unit will automatically turn off within 8-10 minutes but to prolong battery life it is suggested to manually turn off the thermometer.
