    Q
After spraying Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide, I'm noticing lots of birds & squirrels picking at the dead grass, is this typically after an applying or could this be grubs?
Is it expected to have a bunch of small creatures to show up and start nibbling on the lawn after it's been killed off? I only applied the product a little over a week ago, so it hasn't fully finished killing the grass. If all of these animals suddenly showed up at any other time of year, I'd think it might be an issues w grubs or other small bugs/pests, but now I'm not so sure because of the recent application.
    A

Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide does not affect insects in the area but the animals could be finding more seeds and insects in the area as the grass/cover they had is killed off.

Please take a moment to view our Grub Inspection and Treatment Guide for more information on how to inspect for Grubs and an effective treatment.

    Q
Will Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide kill a maple trees?
    A

Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide will kill any plant or tree that you spray it on.  It is non-selective, meaning it will affect anything it touches.  If you have a large tree though, then you would have to use a large amount of it directly on the stump or get it in the trunk of the tree by drilling into it for it to die.  Larger trees are not normally affected by overspray or by applying Eraser to other plants or grass nearby.

    Q
What is the mix rate for Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide using a 4 gallon backpack sprayer to kill winter weeds in Central Arkansas in mid February?
    A

Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide is a non selective herbicide so it will kill both weeds and turfgrass at the labeled rates. For most annual weeds, apply at the rate of 1 1/3 fl oz per gallon of water; use 2 2/3 oz to control tougher or hard to kill perennial weeds.

Any barespots in turfgrass can be reseeded after 2 weeks if needed. Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

    Q
Will Eraser kill prickle pear cacti?
    A
Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide is a non-selective herbicide that would kill just about anything it is sprayed on.  However prickly pear is very difficult to get rid of and since Eraser is not specifically labeled for prickly pear, we can not guarantee that it would work.  Unfortunately, we don't have any herbicides specifically labeled for prickly pear.  You may want to contact the cooperative extension office in your area to see what they recommend.

    Q
will Eraser 41% weed killer kill virginia buttonweed? I haven't found anything that will kill it completly
    A
Eraser 41% is not labeled for virginia buttonweed. Virginia buttonweed is hard to treat. Although Eraser 41% is not specifically labeled to treat it, it does contain glyphosate, and most products containing this ingredient will kill whatever they are applied to. We have found that EndRun works great on Virginia buttonweed when applied per label. Blindside also is labeled to suppress Virginia buttonweed.

    Q
What is the difference between eraser pro and eraser eraser a/p.
    A

The main difference between the two products is that the Eraser A/P has an agricultural label to allow you to use on or near labeled crops and edibles, where the Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide does not have the agricultural label. Although they both have the same active ingredient, Glyphosate, and the same amount of the active ingredient, there are also inert ingredients that may affect whether a product can be used on or near edibles.

Will Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide kill huisache sprouting's that are about 2-3 ft tall in pasture?
The pasture was shredded about 8 months ago, so these are the sprouting's that have come up since, not big plants.

Will Eraser get rid of Mint that is trying to take over my flower bed?
Our tulip and daffodil flower bed is up against a brick wall in front of our home. Mint somehow has sneaked in, and we killed it with our leftover Eraser, but underground roots keep popping up against the wall. Do we have to treat the entire area to kill this pesky weed?
    A
Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide can be used as a spot treatment for mint. Unfortunately, there is no broadcast spray to be used to kill mint in an ornamental bed.

    Q
Can I use Eraser on wild flower when seeding coming up in fall?
    A
When using Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide, apply to actively growing weeds, preferably before the seed heads form. Eraser 41% Weed Killer Herbicide is a non-selective herbicide, so it will kill just about anything it is sprayed on. We do recommend being very careful when using this product near ornamentals in order to avoid spraying it on any desirable vegetation. Temperatures generally have to be above 60 degrees for glyphosate products like Eraser to work.
