    Q
Is Everygreen Pyrethrum Concentrate effective in killing termites in walls & ceilings?
We have an house with wood slat ceilings, studs, exterior siding, with regular termite problems. I saw a pile of "termite poop" that fell from a bedroom (wood slat) ceiling. We recently had to open some walls in that same bedroom to do plumbing replacement and saw a couple of wall studs with obvious termite damage. Thanks for your advice.
    A

No, Evergreen Pyrethrum Concentrate is not labeled for termites. A better option would be to use Premise Foam in the area. This will expand and kill and prevent termites for up to 90 days.

We would recommend checking out our Termite Guide for tips on how to treat and prevent termites in and around your home.

    A
We highly recommend checking out this article How to treat Bird Mites. The article will guide on how to identify and treat bird mites. You want to use a liquid concentrate like Onslaught for cracks and crevices and a dust like Alpine Dust in the wall voids.

    Q
Can Evergreen Pyrethrum be used with cattle oiler?
If so what is the recommended rate for this type of application?
    A

Evergreen Pyrethrum Concentrate is not labeled to be used in that type of equipment, it is labeled for spraying or dipping.  Another option that gives instructions for Back Rubber use would be the Cattlemens Choice 1% Permethrin. Per the product label: Back Rubber Use: Mix one pint per gallon #2 diesel or mineral oil. Keep rubbing device charged. Results improved by daily forced use.

    Q
How effective is applying Evergreen Pyrethrum to treat brown stink bugs?
I am looking for a safe alternative to traditional insecticides for use on tomato plants. I do have a golden retriever that has access to the area which is my reason for shying away from traditional pesticides.
    A

Evergreen Pyrethrum Concentrate will kill most insects including stink bugs but will not offer any residual control. It is safe to apply to tomatoes and safe for animals if used when the dog is not in the area during the application. Your dog can return to the treated areas once the area is completely dry.

Why would you buy 1.4% concentration instead of using a smaller amount of the 5% solution?
