much easier to set-up than i thought it would be. i also like that you can tell if the trap has been tripped without opening the station
Don't Bother

This trap doesn't work. The rat gets in somehow gets by the trap and eats the food. Disappointing to say the least.
Good trap
By Amy in Boston, MA on 04/24/2020
I like that birds, bigger animals like beneficial possum and outdoor cats in the area won't step on it. My neighbor caught a Robin in his unhoused snap trap it was sad. Thats why I got these. I pu…

EZ Snap Rodent (Rat) Bait Station
By B in Scottsdale, AZ on 02/02/2018
Sure looks like it'd work like a champ or we have a smart pack rat. The gooey peanut butter didn't entice it to investigate. They've remained untouched.
Rats and mice and voles.. yes voles not moles
By Steve in Buffalo, NY on 10/21/2020
I've had 2 of these traps in my backyard. And the are doing an excellent job. Dried pineapple has worked best as bait. I have been very successful, and I mainly attribute that to using gloves and fi…

Ignore instructions
By Dan in Acworth on 11/11/2022
I recently removed 93 roof rats from a customers house. The instructions say just put bait in the back of the station. I put free peanut butter on the sides in front of the entrance holes then baite…

Traps
By Terry in Litchfield Park, AZ on 07/31/2020
Awesome traps. Easy to load and then see when it has been tripped. Pet safe and this was paramount since i have 3 Schnauzers that love to chase and kill rats.

By Rob in Chicago, IL on 11/12/2020

Product needs instruction sheet included. It would help to know what kind of attractant works for various rodents.
Great Idea for Rat Control--Bait and Snap
By Doug in Tacoma, WA on 12/08/2023
4 out of 5 stars only because I'm not yet sure whether it will be effective. I really like the idea of a quick/and untortured completion of the deed. Bait-only stations work, I know, but aren…

Hasn't worked yet
By Barbara in Mexico on 05/31/2024
I have had two of these for several weeks now, and haven't caught a rat yet. Will try baking soda, flour, and sugar.
The best!
By Dee in Santa Cruz CA on 06/20/2025
The thing that makes these traps superior is the bicolor zip-tie thing that sticks out. We check the yard daily and we know immediately if a trap is sprung. So we can dispose of a dead rat right away.…
