    Q
Does bromethalin have a secondary kill? If my dog eats the dead rat or mouse will it poison my dog?
I live in the country and may not be able to find all dead rats or mice before my dog finds them.
    A
We would recommend our new rodent bait from Bell Products called Terad3 Blox.  It is a new rodent bait that significantly reduces the risk of secondary poisoning.  Also, a dog or cat would have to get a hold of numerous dead rodents to feel the effects of Fastrac rodent bait, usually more than 10, and the pet would have to actually consume the entire rodent.  Most pets might play around with a dead rodent, but they usually do not consume it.

    Q
I have a small critter of some sort between the brick facing and the wood framed wall.
I have tried mouse traps with no success. Is the some kind of safe poison or repellent that I could drop into the 1-2" space to get rid of this annoying critter? The wall in question is 20' wide by 10' high.
    A
You could place the Fastrac Place Packs in that area. As long as it is not in an area that other animals, or children could get into. The rat or mouse will gnaw into pack.

    Q
Is the packaging plastic or paper on the Fastrac Place Paks?
I am looking for something that will be bio-degradable. If these packages are not biodegradable, do you have a product that comes in biodegradable packages? We are using it in a poultry manure pit (no chickens have access to it) and we can't have plastic in the manure.
    A
The packets are made of a wax coated paper. We spoke to the manufacturer (Bell Labs) to ask their advice on your situation. They said that they are not sure how well these packets would degrade under these conditions. They suggested opening the packs and sprinkling around the manure piles (must be an area that is completely inaccessible to non-target animals and people) or using bait in tamper resistant bait stations. All of the place paks on our site are made by Bell Labs, so they contain the same wax coated paper.

    Q
Will Fastrac Place Paks kill squirrels?
    A
Fastrac Place Paks could harm squirrels if they were to consume it. We cannot recommend to use Fastrac Place Paks for squirrels, as they are not labeled for squirrels. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
