    After applying Fertilome Dipel Dust, how long do you have to wait until harvesting vegetables?
    A
    Dipel dust is a biological dust meaning there are no insecticides present.  Therefore, there is no certain amount of time that you have to wait before harvesting after treatment.  Anything that you harvest should be washed thoroughly and when you do this, you will wash away any traces of the product.

    Can Dipel be mixed with water and sprayed from a hose end sprayer?

    Dipel Dust is to only be used as a dry dust. Mixing it with water will likely decrease the effectiveness of the product, much like putting it down as a dust just before a rain will wash it away. Please refer to the product label on how much to use in the areas to be treated.

    Is Fertilome Dipel Dust bee safe?
    A

    Fertilome Dipel Dust is safe for use around bees. However,  we do recommend that you not you apply it over the top of blooming plants where bees would forage or pollenate, and that you apply in the morning or evening when they are least active.

    No, Fertilome Dipel Dust is not an organic product. It is a natural product. It is made up of materials that occur in nature and are left virtually unchanged.

    Does Fertilome Dipel Dust have a shaker lid?
    I would like to know if you can apply the dipel dust directly from the container it comes in with a shaker lid, or if it needs to be transferred to a duster container.

    Yes, Fertilome Dipel Dust does have a shaker lid. You can use it directly from the container. It is recommended that you use a duster, though, so you can get into areas you may not be able to get into when it is just be applied from the container.

    Can I use Dipel Dust on my orange tree which is infested with a white powdery substance?

    Ferti-lome Dipel Dust Biological Insecticide is not labeled for use on citrus trees. You can use Ferti-Lome Fruit Tree Spray with Neem Py for prevention and control of listed diseases.

    Do I need a spray gun to use Dipel Dust?
    If yes, can you recommend a small one? I have a terrace garden (not big).

    Fertilome Dipel Dust dust not require a sprayer. It's best to just sprinkle out of the can accordingly.

    Will Dipel Dust kill fungus on houseplants?
    I have a plumeria plant I bought in Hawaii in February 2016. It took about 2 months for it to start growing. It's done well but I think is has rust fungus. I brought the plant inside because it gets too cold in the winter.

    No, Fertilome Dipel Dust is not labeled for fungus. It is only labeled for insects. We would recommend using something like Fertilome Triple Action. It is a fungicide, insecticide and miticide all in one. It is safe for use on ornamentals, edibles, etc.

    I heard Ferti-lome Dipel Dust may help with bed bugs. Is this true?

    Ferti-lome Dipel Dust is not labeled for bedbugs so we cannot recommend you use it for bedbug control. We do have many products that are labeled for bedbugs. We recommend trying one of our Bedbug Kits as they come with all of the products you need to properly treat for bedbugs.
