    Does Fertilome Weed-Out Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec need a surfactant added?

    No, you do not have to use a surfactant when applying Fertilome Weed-Out Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec. You can add a non-ionic surfactant in with the product to increase its effectiveness.

    When using Weedout with Trimec will it get rid of dichondra?
    My fescue is heavily invaded. Also what are safety concerns with pets (dogs)?

    Fertilome Weed-Out Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec does list dichondra on the product label as a broadleaf weed it controls and is tolerable on fescue lawns.  Pets should be out of the area during treatment until dry, typically a few hours is best.

    You should wait to water for 24 hrs (no rainfall in 24 hours) after the application of Fertilome Weed-Out Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec.

    Where can I buy Fertilome Weed-out with Trimec?

    We apologize but ordering online or on the phone with us is pretty much the only way to get the Fertilome Weed out with Trimec. VPG products are not allowed to be sold in local or big box stores so they must be purchased from specialty retailers like ourselves. Many customers who are leery of placing orders online or with their cards will go to a store and purchase a prepaid card and use that to order from us either online or by calling in.     Will this product work on post emergent crabgrass or dahlia grass in my Bermuda lawn? If not, what should I be looking for?

    Fertilome Weed-Out Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec is a selective, post-emergent herbicide labeled to eradicate broadleaf weeds. Dimension 2EW is our most popular pre-emergent and Drive XLR8 is our most popular post emergent for crabgrass control. Dimension and Drive are both liquid concentrates, please refer to the product label of each product for specific use instructions. You may also like QuinKill Max Crabgrass and Weed Killer which is available in pints and quarts and contains the same active ingredient, quinclorac, that is in Drive XLR8.

    Can I use Fertilome Weed-Out Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec in my rose garden for dollarweed?

    Yes, Fertilome Weed-Out Lawn Weed Killer with Trimec is labeled to control pennywort aka dollarweed.  You can use it in the rose garden but be sure to avoid direct contact with the roses.
