    How long does Fipronil Plus C last?
    A


    Fipronil - Plus - C will last 3-5 years in the bottle and once mixed it will last 24 hours. Once you have treated you will need to make another application within 30 to 90 days.

    Fipronil - Plus - C has a residual of up to 30 to 90 days and has a transfer effect from those that contact a treated area to others they contact.

    Can Fipronil - Plus - C be used as a crack and crevice application?
    A

    Yes, Fipronil-Plus-C Insecticide can be used as a crack and crevice spray. Apply at the rate of 0.25 ro 1.5 oz per gallon of water, depending on the pest or area being treated. Please see the label for complete application instructions.

    Can Fipronil - Plus - C be applied in apartment kitchens and bathrooms for roach control if applied using a pin stream spray pattern?
    A

    Fipronil - Plus - C can be used indoors for roaches however per the product label, for German cockroaches applications must be directly sprayed within the void to be killed. This product cannot be sprayed around the perimeters inside, along baseboards, behind appliances, under sinks, etc. We would recommend using one of our Roach Control Kits for a complete treatment program using a residual insecticide, roach bait gel and insect growth regulator.     Why is Fipronil - Plus - C not labeled for carpenter ants?
    A

    Unfortunately, we are not provided with all the reasons behind the restrictions or exclusions on a label. You can call the manufacturer of Fipronil-Plus-C at  480-357-8500. Other fipronil products can be applied as an exterior perimeter treatment for carpenter ants, such as Termidor SC.

    Is it better to apply Fipronil - Plus - C with a stainless steel or polyurethane tank sprayer? Is the effectiveness of the mixed solution better with one or the other?
    A

    Either B&G stainless steel sprayer or Chapin plastic handpump sprayers are both good to use with this product and would not change the effectiveness of the treatment.

    Fipronil - Plus - C is not labeled to control bed bugs. We’d recommend taking a look at one of our bed bug kits.

    Can insecticides containing the active ingredient Fipronil like Fipronil - Plus - C or Taurus SC be tank mixed with an IGR?
    A

    Yes, Fipronil - Plus - C and Taurus SC can be tank mixed with an IGR such as NyGuard IGR as long as they are applied according to the product label instructions. 
    Note: Fipronil - Plus - C can be used indoors for crawling pests according to the product label instructions. Taurus SC cannot be used indoors unless directly spot treating active termite colonies. Outdoors, this can be applied for perimeter foundaiton treatments of crawling insects per the product label.
