We placed two of these in the garage to catch flying critters before they make it in to the house, and it catches tons of stuff. The only tricks are to make sure the garage doors are closed before dark, as after dark these lights attract LOTs of things from outside, and to make sure these are the only lights in the room. We also use one as a night light in the kitchen, and no longer have anything fly pests in our house. This thing grabs house flies and fruit flies before we notice them. Again the trick is to be sure this is the only light source at night.

The flytrap light really is a marvelous Eco friendly device to eliminate annoying drain flies, gnats, and/or fruit flies. I was completely satisfied with the product and highly recommend "The Flytrap Light" to all that may have a similar problem with those type bugs as I once did.

Installed the unit and left it in my walk up attic for two days. Upon inspection there were no flies or any other insects stuck to the glue board. This may have been because it was very cold at the time and the flies were probably dormant. But after a few more days, the board started to fill up with flies and have had to change the board twice already. There were roughly 30 - 40 flies on each glue board. Thank you. :)

Bugs inside and out are in love with this light. Outside bugs batter themselves to death on the windows trying to get in. Inside bugs hang around in the room where the light is plugged in, making it easier to spray or whack them. :) I would say it was a very good purchase! With the sticky bug board inserted, it is both silent and very effective.

We have had house flies in our house during the summer for years. This is the only product I've found to be effective in getting rid of them. The flies and other flying insects are quickly attracted to it. The glue card that came with it filled up within a few days of being in my garage and we soon needed more.

Immediately worked in a matter of minutes in an office environment with an evasion of Florida gnats. After a few days the gnats in specific areas are either caught by the Flyweb or moved on. We ordered more for other areas in case they found another place to attack.

Catches flies, moths, and I never knew how many gnats we had until I saw them stuck to the glue paper!

I absolutely LOVE this fly light. I purchased it because we had a problem with flies, mosquitoes, gnats, etc... getting in the house during warmer months. I literally plugged this light in an outlet in the living room and turned all the other lights in the house off at night. In the morning...VOILA! There were always a few more "flies" stuck to the glue than the night before. Kept it plugged in from June through September. Literally forgot about it. When I finally put it away for the season, at least a hundred little flies, mosquitoes, etc .. were stuck to the glue paper. I'm so pleased with this product. Gets the job done!

This light did it's job. We tried everything we could to get rid of these annoying flies, so small only my husband could see them, but after a while they began to bother me. Always when we were at the dinner table. The light worked, so thankful for the light. Thank you DoMyOwn.

Some parts of Ohio have a problem with stink bugs and in the winter months they can find a hole no biggie than a straight pin to get in where there's heat. If you smash them with a fly swatter you end up smelling them for a week or more. I'm glad that the fly light is able to get rid of them without the stink.

I have had a knat problem since the fall when I brought in some plants from the outside. I purchased the Flyweb Fly Light and the knats are collecting on it. I will also use a hydrogen peroxide mixture in conjunction with the light in an attemt to rid the house of these pests.

I ordered this item because of a sudden fly infestation ( probably from eggs laid on flowers bought at a grocery store). Of course by the time I ordered and received the trapper, we had conquered the flies the old-fashioned way—swatted! But the trapper is working well on the lingering fruit flies. And I'll be ready for the larger pests when they invade my house!

We did extensive renovations this summer and the workmen let in a lot of flies and gnats. This product did a wonderful job of getting rid of them without me chasing them around with a fly swatter. I placed the light in an area of the kitchen away from the windows, in an outlet about 4 feet off the floor, and I made certain it was the only light on at night. The placement of the light is a crucial aspect of the success of the product. The flies let in during the day were all killed overnight, and the late night snackers had a convenient nightlight.

MG turned me onto these things and since then it's a must have for the Goodyear house! I've got several of these and they are awesome. Highly recommend.

Very effective for small areas and to move around. We use these in guest houses and for temporary trouble spots. bulbs are easy to change. I did notice that a small flip out tray would be helpful as many bugs end up on the interior and when papers are changed you need to turn upside down and tap a large amount of collected bugs.

We had a ton of gnats in our kitchen area. The first night we used it, nothing happened so we turned off some other light sources which may have competed with the flyweb light. After night two and three, the trap caught 15 gnats. Each night moving forward, it consistently caught so many gnats that we had to change glue sheet. It works so well that I ordered 2 more. Great buy!

Ive been doing pest control for 15+ years...I cant believe Ive never got around to trying this fly light...4 hours and its caught 22 flies (fruit flies..fungus gnats and phorid flies)...and I just received it and plugged it in today. Buy the extra pack of glue boards you'll need them...I'm estimating 3-7 days on a glue board depending on severity of fly problem...mine is annoyingly high every summer. Avoiding competition with other sources of light is important. Good luck fly fighters...you will not regret buying this. PS. Most pest companies switch out bulbs every 12 months or sooner if they fail.

Works terrific. We somehow had flies this year in the basement where we have a rabbit, so using other pest control was not an option.

I tried all the other ways of eliminating these pest flys and no good. Then I found these and Thank God their all gone. What a mess it was before....we couldn't even eat or prepare food without 5 or more landing on the foods. Highly recommend!

there are three parts in this system, and it is great. The bugs are drawn to the light, so don't put it near a competitive light. plug it in and forget it until it's tiime to change the glue card. Even found a dead lizard in one. adios
