    Q
Will Fusilade kill tall Fescue out of my Liriope beds???
    A
Fusilade II will not kill fescue in Liriope. It is hard to recommend a product that will kill fescue, but not Lirope. You could us a glyphosate product like Ranger Pro. Doing your best to lift the Liriope up and away from the Fescue while spraying Ranger to the Fescue. You can also contact the Master Gardner in your area for more information on treatment.

    Q
When tank mixing Stinger and Fusilade do you still add surfactant?
Fusilade calls for it and Stinger calls against it.
    A

Fusilade II Herbicide always requires a surfactant be mixed with it for best results.  We do not carry anything called Stinger so could not comment on it other than to follow labeled instructions.  If Stinger does not require a surfactant, it would be best to apply each product separately.

    Q
Can Fusilade II be used in a centipede lawn to control Bermuda grass and torpedo grass and not harm centipede?
    A

Fusilade II is not labeled as safe to be used on Centipede lawns. While it is labeled to target torpedograss, it requires multiple applications at the highest labeled rates, and offers suppression of bermuda. Bonide Grass Beater Over the Top Grass Killer, however, is labeled for use on centipedegrass and will target bermuda and torpedograss as well as many other grass species.

    Q
Do you have a herbicide that can get rid of crabgrass growing through my Asiatic jasmine?
    I live in FL.
    A
Snapshot 2.5 TG would be a good choice for a broad spectrum pre-emergent around Asiatic Jasmine. Fusilade II should be used if you need a broad spectrum post-emergent selective herbicide. Both of these herbicides are labeled to control crabgrass.

  • Asked by Kyle from Baton Rouge, La
    08/02/2017
    Q
Can you spray Fusilade II on a Centipede Grass lawn to help control Torpedo Grass?
I have centipede grass and torpedo grass is overtaking my entire lawn and flower beds. I see that I can use this product to help control torpedo grass growth in my flowerbeds, but can I spray it on my entire lawn without harming my centipede grass?
    A

Fusilade II Herbicide cannot be used on centipede grass as it will kill the lawn, nor it is labeled to be used on home lawns.  Most of the herbicides on the market will only suppress the torpedograss for a short time. It is recommended to spot treat the torpedo grass with a non-selective herbicide such as Round Up Quick Pro and then reseed or sod in the treated areas.
