    Can Gentrol Aerosol IGR be used with glue traps? If so, should they be used in different places?
    I.e., Will the gentrol decrease the effectiveness of the glue traps if it is in close proximity to the traps? About a week ago, I found a long forgotten book bag on the floor of a carpeted room (a spare room used primarily for storage). When I picked it up, I saw maybe 50 juvenile roaches on the bag and several more inside it and in the carpet where it had lain. I sprayed everything with raid, took the bag to the dumpster, sprayed again and then vacuumed. Since then, I've seen 3 juveniles in that room. So now, I'm trying to make sure I have this problem nipped in the bud. I'd be grateful for your advice.

    Gentrol Aerosol IGR can be used in conjunction with glueboards, as these are only designed to catch insects while Gentrol prevents young from maturing into reproducing adults.  Gentrol is directed to cracks and crevices around the room, traps are laid where you notice activity and are better more for monitoring than eliminating an infestation.

    Safe to use in dishwasher?
    I have found several German roaches inside of my dishwasher. Is it safe to spray inside the crevices of the dishwasher?

    Gentrol Aerosol IGR  should not be applied inside the dishwasher. You will want to keep it dry after each use and apply products in the Roach Control Rotation A Kit for treating roaches along with non-chemical methods.     I purchased Gentrol Aerosol to try and solve my pest problem but I still see adult flies.

    Please provide the type of fly you are treating for. Gentrol IGR will not kill insects it is a growth regulator. Please contact us at 866.581.7378 for free expert advice.

    Gentrol stained the grout on my tile floor. The stain looks like oil stain. How can I remove it? Thanks.

    We would recommend contacting the manufacturer directly for instructions on how to remove a stain. Generally, Gentrol Aerosol IGR will go on clear and dry that way as well. Their phone number is 415-562-6903.

    Can Gentrol Aerosol IGR be used in the same areas as a roach bait? Will it repel the roaches?

     Gentrol Aerosol IGR should not be used around baits or as an insecticide for any of the listed pests, just an insect growth regulator. It will not repel roaches, it provides preventative action, since it disrupts stored product pests' normal development.

    What are the spill control instructions for Gentrol Aerosol?
    A

    According to the product SDS for Gentrol Aerosol, any spills should be cleaned up by ventilating the area, and then applying absorbent material to contain the spill.  Place in a container for disposal.
