You can dispose of any excess Gentrol IGR mixture by either pouring it directly into the soil next to the foundation of the home, and flushing that soil with clean water as you rinse the sprayer after use; or you can take it to your county’s local chemical waste disposal location.
Gentrol IGR Concentrate is labeled to treat for Drain Flies however will not kill exisiting drain flies. IGR’s only stop the immature stages of the insect from maturing into adults and reproducing. Per the product label for drain treatments, apply product into and around the downspout and catch basin area. Coat these areas thoroughly as fly larvae develop in the scum buildup on the sides of drain pipes. Repeat applications at 2 to 4 week intervals depending upon the severity of infestation.

Temprid FX and Gentrol IGR Concentrate should be applied once every 90 days. Bait should be applied to areas not sprayed every couple of weeks for 90 days and rotate with another bait gel after that time. Yes, Gentrol IGR Concentrate can be mixed with Temprid FX. Gentrol does have a dried residual of 14-120 days depending on the insect you are treating for. Be sure to read the product label to see how often you should retreat for the pest you are targeting.
Since Tekko Pro IGR and Gentrol IGR Concentrate use different growth regulator active ingredients there should be no issue with the mixed solution of Tekko IGR + Alpine WSG over an area where Gentrol IGR has been applied.
