How do I dispose of excess Gentrol IGR Concentrate from a gallon sprayer if any is left over?
    A

You can dispose of any excess Gentrol IGR mixture by either pouring it directly into the soil next to the foundation of the home, and flushing that soil with clean water as you rinse the sprayer after use; or you can take it to your county’s local chemical waste disposal location.

    Q
Can Gentrol IGR Concentrate be used to treat Drain Flies?
    A

Gentrol IGR Concentrate is labeled to treat for Drain Flies however will not kill exisiting drain flies. IGR’s only stop the immature stages of the insect from maturing into adults and reproducing. Per the product label for drain treatmentsapply product into and around the downspout and catch basin area. Coat these areas thoroughly as fly larvae develop in the scum buildup on the sides of drain pipes. Repeat applications at 2 to 4 week intervals depending upon the severity of infestation.

We would recommend using our Drain Fly Kit in addition to Gentrol IGR for a complete treatment program. For more information please reveiew our How to Get Rid of and Kill Drain Flies

    Q
Do I have to apply Gentrol IGR Concentrate every time I reapply the Temprid Fx or just the first time I spray?
    A

Temprid FX and Gentrol IGR Concentrate should be applied once every 90 days. Bait should be applied to areas not sprayed every couple of weeks for 90 days and rotate with another bait gel after that time. You should not apply inside of electronics, etc. Please take a few moments to review our treatment article and videos here for more details on the application includes good bait placements.

    Q
Can I spray Tekko with Alpine over an old Gentrol IGR Concentrate application?
Hi I want to spray Tekko Pro and Alpine WSG mixed together. The exterminator did a 30 day service last spray with Gentrol was 3 weeks ago. I just want to get the areas well before putting our food and dishes away again in a few days. Will there be any bad reaction sprayingTekko over 3 week old Gentrol application? If so, how long must I wait?
    A

Since Tekko Pro IGR and Gentrol IGR Concentrate use different growth regulator active ingredients there should be no issue with the mixed solution of Tekko IGR + Alpine WSG over an area where Gentrol IGR has been applied.
