The Genus Spectra Compact Fly Light – Standard has been designed for high UVa output to optimise flying insect catch rate. Increasing customer awareness, has led to a demand for higher levels of hygiene and food safety. Spectra and Spectra Compact have been designed with these needs in mind. The Spectra products feature uniquely positioned bulbs to maximize the UVa output and ensure flies head unobstructed, straight for the discreetly placed Universal Glue Board. Finished with an attractively designed hinged screen panel, the Spectra Fly Lights not only boast a powerful performance, but ensure ease of servicing and complete discretion. The Spectra Compact comes with 1 Glue Board, and 1 CFL 36-watt Standard Bulb.
The FL 36-watt Sleeved Bulb (shatterproof) can also be purchased separately for this light.
Each flylight comes with a light bulb(s) and one glue board(s) already installed.

I recently bought 3 of these lights for a customer of my that I provide exterminator services for his deli /restaurant, the place has only 1 floor level, but had a big fruit fly mix with house fly infestation, I knew rightaway that I would need UV lights that could work fast and also not get the store owners in trouble with health department officials, so this light is definitely all the more worth it, it catches the flies fast and is legal to have in food handling facilities as well none food handling facilities, so even though its not as big as the spectra fly light or vector plasma screen light it could definitely hold its own as promise.

I think the light is very effective. I live in an apartment, this is my first purchase. I did not realize one had to remove the paper from the sticky board, so the flies were attracted, but not caught. This seems very obvious to remove the paper, but to a novice, the advertisement stated the board was already in place, didn't indicate removal of the paper.
