    Q
Is is safe to eat vegetables after using Giant Destroyers?
I used your Giant Destroyer product in my garden area about one month ago just after I planted my garden. The mole hole was about two feet away from the first row of garden that I planted but close to my rhubarb plant. Is is safe to eat my vegetables and my rhubarb? Here is what I planted: swiss chard, green beans and onions. I also have a greenhouse in the same area in which I have tomato and cucumber plants. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
    A
Giant Destroyer does not leave a residual at all and is not a product that is taken up by the plants root systems whatsoever. Once a cartridge is done burning and has killed the mole, the smoke dissipates and is no longer present.

    Q
Should I keep my pets and dogs away when using Giant Destroyer?
I have a dog that runs loose in my yard. How long should I keep him out of the yard after I use the Giant Destroyer?
    A

The Giant Destroyer typically is suppose to be used under ground and the smoke contained in a gophers tunnel which would be air tight.  Once the Giant Destroyer has been used, there would be no side effects from the product that your dog could suffer from. The dog can enter the yard immediately after the Giant Destroyer has been deployed.

    Q
Where do the groundhogs (woodchucks) die after Giant Destroyer Smoke Bomb/Gasser?
I moved to a new house and found out there are groundhogs in my yard. Do the bombs make the burrows uninviting so the animal does not want to return OR do the bombs actually kill the animal. If it kills the animal, do the groundhogs die underground or do the bombs make the groundhog leave the hole and die above ground (like when rats eat poison and die after looking for water)?
    A
Giant Destroyer Smoke Bomb/Gasser will suffocate the rodent and they will die in the burrow.

    Q
Is it okay for a Giant Destroyer bomb to stay in the dirt/tunnel after it goes off?
We had tried this product in our backyard for the moles! We retrieved one used successful smoke bomb . However the other one we cannot seem to find as I accidentally took the rock up. Is it safe and/or harmful to keep the used smoke bomb in the mole tunnel? We attempted to dig up 3 different possible locations but all a no go! Concerned but we seem to have no choice.
    A

Giant Destroyer Smoke Bomb/Gassers are safe to be left in the burrows and are biodegradable and should cause no harm if they are not found after burning down.

    Q
Does Giant Destroyer contain poison harmful to non-target animals (dogs)?
I'm worried about the safety of the Giant Destroyer because I have dogs. If a dog were to dig up (or otherwise) and find a squirrel killed by Giant Destroyer and eat it, will this be harmful to or kill the dog?
    A
Giant Destroyer more or less asphyxiates animals in their burrow. This product does not pose a significant threat of a secondary poisoning (example: dog eats squirrel that has been killed by Giant Destroyer) for non-target animals. It is very important to keep all non-target animals away from the area while it is being treated. Read and follow all instructions on the product label for best results.

    Q
I have squirrels living in my walls. Can I use Giant Destroyer safely in my home?
    A

No, Giant Destroyer is basically a smoke bomb that is meant to be place outside in burrows and holes under the ground.  If you used this inside your whole house would be filled with smoke and that would not be good.  It is not permissible to use this product inside.  You probably have squirrels in your attic.  You should use one of our Havahart Squirrel Traps in the attic to capture the squirrels.  Also, this means there is an opening somewhere around your roof line where they are getting in.  You should make sure all trees are cut back from the roof line and close up any openings around the house that could allow for squirrels to enter the home.

    Q
    Rats under concrete slab
Rats have burrowed under a concrete patio slab in my back yard. Can Giant Destroyer be used to kill the rats. Clearance to combustibles is not a problem.
    A
If the patio slab is not connected to the house slab you can use a Giant Destroyer to help eliminate the rat. If there are many tunnels or if it is in an area where you cannot seal up the entrances you may want to consider using rat poison baits instead such as Fastrac or Contrac.

    Q
If we use this product, is there a certain amount of time to be gone from our house and come back safely?
We have a skunk that lives under our house, and we would like to use your product. If we can really smell the skunk in our home then the product would most likely come in our house. Is it safe for us to still use it in the skunk spot and leave for a certain amount of time and come back after a certain amount of time safely. I do have a 7 month old child. How long would we need to be gone from our home if we use this product?
    A
The Giant Destroyer can NOT be used under your home under any circumstances. The gases emitted from the Giant Destroyer are dangerous to humans as well as other mammals. Please consider trapping the skunk with the Havahart trap or calling in professionals.

    Q
    How do I control voles?
    A

One popular method for controlling voles, is to gas them using our popular product called Giant Destroyer which is basically a smoke bomb you set off in the burrow hole of the vole which will kill anything in the burrow.  Another method, is to pour bait down the burrow hole for the vole to eat. Kaput Rat & Mouse Bait is also labeled for voles. Please refer to the article below for helpful tips.
