Product Overview

GreenClean Pond Block is a blend of beneficial bacteria and enzymes for natural pond balance, clarification, and maintenance. This product reduces excess nutrients in water bodies to improve water quality and clarity. Murky water, foul odors, and an increase in nutrient levels are often caused by the buildup of organic materials. Up to 5 acres of water can be treated by one block for 30-60 days. GreenClean Pond Blocks is recommended to be placed or suspended in areas where water movements or aeration occur to increase the dispersion of beneficial bacteria. Available in a box of 4 x 5 lb. blocks.

FEATURES:

  • Naturally breaks down organic waste and reduces available phosphorous
  • Contains multiple, naturally occurring, non-engineered highly stabilized Bacillus strains
  • Easy to use, slow-release formula lasts 30–60 days

APPLICATION DIRECTIONS:

  • One GreenClean Pond Block will treat up to 5 acre-feet of water for 30–60 days. 
  • Apply blocks in early spring when water temperatures reach 50 degrees F or higher and continue to use until the average water temperature drops below 50 degrees F in winter. 
  • For best results place or suspend GreenClean Pond Blocks in areas of water movement or aeration to increase the dispersion of beneficial bacteria throughout the water body.
  • To suspend GreenClean Pond Blocks and increase the mixing of the product into the water column, place block in mesh sock provided. 
  • Suspend or anchor near an aerator, fountain, feeder streams, or other areas of water flow.
  • Remove mesh sock from pond once block dissolves.
