Just installed these around a home that has had termite damage. They were relatively easy to install. I used a solid 1" rebar to start the hole, then pounded a 1 1/2" pipe into the hole with a sledge hammer. Although they seem somewhat cheap, they withstood me "finishing off" flush in the ground with a hammer and a wood block. I don't know how they work and hope I never do. I work in the turf industry and DOW has trusted products.

Termite bait

I can only talk about how well they came in and packaged well. Nicely made and assembled well in the ground. Right now I am at the point of getting any response from the termites, so as soon as I see that I will put the bait in them. But yes they are well built, easy to install, and easy to check on. So as far as all that goes they are a great product. We will see once I see some signs of them as to how well it clears them up.
