    Q
Can I use Hi-Yield 2, 4-D Selective Weed Killer on asparagus?
    A

Hi-Yield 2, 4-D Selective Weed Killer does not list on the product label that it is safe for use around edibles, only in non-crop areas.  The Avenger Weed Killer Concentrate is safe for use around edible vegetation and fruit trees as it does not persist in the soil and is approved for organic gardening.  Be sure to not spray any of the plants you do not want to kill as it is non-selective and will kill anything to which it is applied.

I have RR ag corn planted and I can no longer control the waterhemp in my foodplots. Can I use the 24D Amine in my corn and if so, how much per acre would you recommend? This is NOT sweetcorn.

    Q
Can I use Hi-Yield 2, 4-D Selective Weed Killer in my flower and vegetable garden at the lowest dilution?
The dollar weeds are overtaking both gardens. Keeping up by hand is not getting the job done. We need an alternate solution.
    A

Hi-Yield 2, 4-D Selective Weed Killer is not labeled for dollarweed or to be used around edibles at any rate.  A better option in this area would be to spot treat with a glyphosate-based product like GlyPhoSel Pro.

    Q
Will Hi-Yield 2, 4-D kill the little maple tree helicoptors that are rooting in the lawn?
    A

Hi-Yield 2, 4-D Selective Weed Killer will not kill the maple seeds before they sprout.  It needs to be applied to the actively growing weeds to be effective but is not labeled for tree seedlings.  Something like the Ferti-lome Brush Killer and Stump Killer would be a better option.

    Q
How long after spraying Hi-Yield 2, 4-D Selective Weed Killer on St. Augustine and removing it, can I re-sod?
    A

Hi-Yield 2, 4-D Selective Weed Killer should be applied to the prior season when seeding or sodding. So if you treated with the product in the spring, you could seed/sod in the fall. If applied in the fall, you could seed/sod the following spring. Using a non-selective that does not stay in the soil very long would be a great idea such as Avenger, RoundUp, etc. You could seed/sod two weeks after treatment and removal.

    Q
Can I spray Hi-Yield 2, 4 - D Selective Weed Killer around shrubs, trees, yard plants, etc?
    A

You should not spray 2,4-D products such as Hi - Yield 2, 4 - D Selective Weed Killer in a way where the spray or drift could contact desirable trees or ornamentals. 2,4-D also has some volatility, so you do not want to spray it close to trees, shrubs, flowers, etc.
