    Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control - 38% Permethrin is ONLY for Outdoor Residential use: Ornamentals, Lawns, Trees, Shrubs, Vines, perimeter treatments, Flowering Plants, Conifers, Woody Non-edible Ornamentals, Herbaceous Non-edible Ornamentals. It would not be safe to apply to peas or other edibles.

    My home is 1200 sq ft. How many bottles would I need?

    Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control - 38% Permethrin is mixed at the rate of 0.04 to 0.08 oz per gallon of water depending on what you are treating for.  Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

    No, Hi-Yield 38-Plus should not be used on peach trees or any other edible plants. Hi-Yield Indoor/Outdoor 10% Permethrin Insecticide can be used on residential peach trees for pests listed on the product label.

    How much Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control do you use to kill carpenter ants?
    A

    You will use 0.4-0.8 oz. of Hi-Yield 38 Plus Insect Control for carpenter ants.  Keep in mind that this will only kill carpenter ants that contact the treated area. It will not kill off the colony. You will need something that is transferred back to the colony.     Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control - 38% Permethrin is not specifically labeled for ladybugs. We do offer a kit called Overwintering Kit for Stink Bugs, Lady Bugs, Boxelder Bugs that is effective for treatment.

    How much Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control - 38% Permethrin do I mix to 25 gals for fire ants?
    A

    Per the product label: Mix 1.6 fluid ozs. (3 1/4 Tablespoons) of Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control - 38% Permethrin per 1 gallon of spray solution to make a 0.5% spray emulsion. {1 fluid oz. = 2 Tablespoons (T) = 6 teaspoons (tsp.)}. For large Ant mounds, such as Fire Ant mounds, apply 1-2 gallons of a 0.5% emulsion to each mound area including a 4-foot diameter circle around the mound. Apply to smaller mounds until the mound is completely saturated. Use higher water volume for mounds larger than 12”. For best results treat in early morning or late evening hours, but not in the heat of the day

    For broadcasting: Prepare an emulsion by mixing 0.4 to 0.8 fluid ozs. (2 1/2 to 5 teaspoons) of this product in sufficient volume of water to cover 1,000 sq. ft. (approximately 4 to 25 gallons of water). {1 fluid oz. = 2 Tablespoons (T) = 6 teaspoons (tsp.).

    No, Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control - 38% Permethrin is not labeled to be used in a fogger. We do carry several other products that can be used in a fogger and you can see them by following this link: Fogging Solutions

    Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control cannot be used on humans for scabies.  Unfortunately we do not carry anything that can be used for this purpose.  We recommend contacting a physician for advice on appropriate products to use.

    Can I spray Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control for flies in my chicken coups and goat houses?

    Hi-Yield 38-Plus Insect Control is not labeled for livestock areas, poultry houses/coops or goat shelter/housing. We do offer other products that are effective for these areas. Please provide any products you are currently using for pest control and approximate size area for an alternate recommendation. Thank you!
