Hi-Yield Atrazine Weed Killer is safe for St. Augustine and Centipede lawns in GA if applied as directed on the product label for listed weeds. It is not specifically labeled for chamberbitter. This is a very stubborn weed. Pre emergent applications with a product like Isoxaben 75 WG have proven to be the most effective way to control this weed. Research from several extension pages do suggest the use of Atrazine for this weed, but we are not able to guarantee its effectiveness. Also, keep in mind given how persistent and pesky chamberbitter is, there is no one and done solution to take care of the weed so repeat application may have to take place in order to fully kill the invaders. Please contact your local cooperative extension office for additional products and recommendations for this application.

Hi-Yield Atrazine Weed Killer is not labeled for basketgrass and unfortunately, basketgrass can be difficult to control. The only herbicide recommended is a non selective glyphosate like Roundup Quick Pro to directly spot treat the basketgrass. In lawn areas, treated areas can be resodded or reseeded after 2 weeks.
Other methods of control include hand pulling or hand digging the weed and roots. For landscape beds it is suggested to apply 2-3 inch layer of organic mulch over the area and consider planting with a more desirable ground cover such as Asiatic Jasmine or Liriope which overtime can outlive basketgrass. . .
There is not a selective option to kill Bermuda out of Centipede as they are both warm season turfgrasses. It is typically recommended to spot treat the Bermuda with a non-selective glyhposate product and kill it directly, and then replant with Centipede in those areas accordingly.

Your options would be to either spot-treat with a Roundup-type product and then reseed with the Fescue in those areas, or you can use a pre-emergent like Prodiamine 65 WDG in the fall to prevent the poa from growing in the first place.
