    What is the difference between Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone II and Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III?
    A

    The Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone II is 0.02% Imidacloprid and comes in a 15lb bag. The Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III is a little higher rate of Imidacloprid at 0.05% and comes in a smaller 10 lb bag.

    Assume pets and children should not walk on lawn until watered in and dry?

    That is correct, as long as you keep pets and children out of the area while you apply Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III and until everything has been watered in and had time to settle, it is safe.

    Can I apply Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III with a fertilizer at the same time?
    A

    You want to wait at least 4-6 weeks after applying Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III to apply a weed killer or fertilizer. This way you do not disrupt the product from working in the thatch layer and killing grubs.

    Will Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III treat white grubs that I found in my freshly planted sod?
    Squished quite a few of these grubs while I was planting the sod and worried they will kill it. I noticed in the description that it is supposed to be applied before they hatch, wondering if it will work when they are already big grubs. If not, what would you recommend?

    Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III is labeled for grubs but yes, you do need to treat before the grubs hatch. If they are truly active, the only thing that can be applied to kill them is Dylox 6.2 Granules.

    You would need to apply the Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone prior to egg hatching for the Japanese Beetle and this timing can vary from region to region. We recommend you contact your local cooperative extension office to find the best time to apply product for Japanese Beetle Grubs in your area.

    Is Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III safe to use around fruit trees to eliminate leaf miners?

    Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III is labeled for turf-grass and landscape ornamental plants only. It should not be used near fruit trees and is not labeled for the target pest. Please provide the fruit trees you are treating for an alternate recommendation. We are happy to help!

    How do I eradicate any pests that draw armadillos?
    A
    Armadillos will eat grubs, ants, termites, spiders etc. They will also eat plants, some fruit and a variety of other things that can be on the poperty. Eliminating the crawling insects and the insects in the soil will help drive them away if there is not another food source. We also carry a repellent to deter them from the propery once these insects are controlled as well as traps. Please let us know more information about the area that you will be treating including the size and what insects you have noticed so that we can offer you the products that will best fit your needs.     Other than eliminating the food source of the toads and lizards, Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III  will not harm lizards

    What if pets are in area before Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III is watered in?
    A

    Hi-Yield Grub Free Zone III needs to be watered in after application to get into the soil down the roots. As long as you keep pets/children out of the area while you treat and until the product has had time to completely dry it is safe for pets and people to return and resume normal activity .  Typically after 4-6 hours.
