Kill all 365
By Steve on 02/26/2021
I sprayed the Killzall 365 on some fallow ground that was choked with tumbleweeds last year. The weeds were just starting to emerge and I sprayed a test patch of about a half acre. The weeds started to brown in about two days and after a week the weeds have completely browned. So far no weeds have returned. I have ordered more of this and will mix it with a pre-emergent To spray around fence lines and ditch banks.

Amazing product

I mixed it a little strong, expecting sub par results like I have gotten in the past from other products. I have learned I was always using the wrong thing. It took 2 weeks to show results, but it looks like someone set fire to what I sprayed. I'm trying to kill everything near a house I'm building and it worked wonders. This will be purchased again.

How can you get the same effectiveness with instructions like. "Mix 7.4 fl. oz. (0.46 pints) of this product with water to produce 1 to 10 gallons of spray solution". I am no chemist, but these instructions are not useful at all, how can mixing the same quantity in 1 gallon be as effective as mixing it in 10 gallons? What is the correct mix rate for a bare ground application?
For the Hi Yield Killzall 365 the mix rate and water volume used is based on the density of the weeds you are treating and the size of the area being treated. If weeds are small and young, a lower amount of water would be needed to get sufficient coverage. Whereas if you have tall dense weeds that are mature and more well established, a higher water volume would be needed to get the product to cover the entire surface of the treated area and not just the top foliage. The product label goes on to say in the paragraph below the one you are referencing, that this indicated volume should be used over 1000 sq/ft. If you were to use 7.4 oz over 1500 sq/ft for instance, you would not get the same result as you would have spread the product too thinly. You can see our video below explaining why calibrating your sprayer and figuring out how much water volume you specifically will need for your individual treatment area is important to help you know how much solution to mix with water.
