Product Overview

Hi-Yield Killzall 365 is specially formulated to provide total vegetation control for up to one year. It contains powerful active ingredients which helps kill and prevent new weeds and unwanted grasses from growing on treated areas whole year round. It is designed for use on non-crop areas like parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, gravel areas, and around fencerows and buildings. It is guaranteed rainproof within an hour so rain or watering will not wash away effectiveness easily. It is recommended to be applied to bare soil to get the longest residue or generously spray nuisance weeds and grasses to get both good control and long-lasting residue. Make sure to avoid spraying under or near desirable plants including trees and shrubs to keep them from dying. A 32 oz. bottle treats up to 4,300 sq. ft.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

WHEN TO USE

Apply to bare ground or when weeds are present. If weeds are taller than 6 inches, mow or cut down weeds and remove debris before treatment, and allow for 2 weeks of new growth. If woody vines or brush is mowed or cut, wait until full leaf formation before treatment.

To prevent growth of weeds under asphalt driveways, play areas, tennis courts and parking areas, apply this product before laying surfacing materials. Treat area uniformly to maximize results. Re-treatment every 6 to 8 months may be necessary in areas of heavy rainfall.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Apply on a sunny day with temperatures above 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid product runoff to nearby desirable plants. In soils with heavy clay, weed control may exceed one year.

Total Vegetation Control (Bareground)

Use hand operated spray equipment such as backpack sprayers, pump-up sprayers or sprinkling cans, or ATV/Tractor mounted sprayers. Mix 7.4 fl. oz. (0.46 pints) of this product with water to produce 1 to 10 gallons of spray solution. Optimum performance will be achieved from applications to actively growing weeds in early summer.

Uniformly spray the mix over area where total vegetation control and bareground is desired. 7.4 fl. oz. of product within 1 to 10 gallons of spray solution should be applied to 1,000 square feet.

Maximum application rate of this product is 2.5 gallons per acre per year (7.4 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. per year).

Spot Control of Brush, Vines, and Weeds

Use hand operated spray equipment such as backpack sprayers, pump-up sprayers or sprinkling cans, or ATV/Tractor mounted sprayers. Mix 6 fl. oz. of this product per 1 gallon of spray solution. Thoroughly and uniformly spray foliage of woody plants to wet. For optimum performance:

  • Apply to actively growing brush, vines and weeds.
  • Woody brush and vines are controlled better in late summer and fall after fruit formation.
  • If woody vines and brush are mowed or cut, wait until full leaf formation before treatment.
  • Do not cut or mow brush, vines or perennial weeds for 2 months following treatment.

Maximum application rate of this product is 2.5 gallons per acre per year (7.4 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. per year).

    Kill all 365

    By Steve on 02/26/2021

I sprayed the Killzall 365 on some fallow ground that was choked with tumbleweeds last year. The weeds were just starting to emerge and I sprayed a test patch of about a half acre. The weeds started to brown in about two days and after a week the weeds have completely browned. So far no weeds have returned. I have ordered more of this and will mix it with a pre-emergent To spray around fence lines and ditch banks.

    By Sub on 11/18/2022

So far it's been only 2 months, but this product has definitely managed to kill all vegetation in the applied area and they are still very much dead :) Was easy to mix and apply as well.

    very slow acting/be very careful

    By Dr on 04/06/2024

Do not make this extremely strong as it will not look like anything for up to 10 days to 3 weeks. It is an awesome kill zone!

    Amazing product

    By Taffy on 06/17/2022

I mixed it a little strong, expecting sub par results like I have gotten in the past from other products. I have learned I was always using the wrong thing. It took 2 weeks to show results, but it looks like someone set fire to what I sprayed. I'm trying to kill everything near a house I'm building and it worked wonders. This will be purchased again.

Q
The mix instructions are very vague for Hi-Yield Killzall 365

How can you get the same effectiveness with instructions like. "Mix 7.4 fl. oz. (0.46 pints) of this product with water to produce 1 to 10 gallons of spray solution". I am no chemist, but these instructions are not useful at all, how can mixing the same quantity in 1 gallon be as effective as mixing it in 10 gallons? What is the correct mix rate for a bare ground application?

A

For the Hi Yield Killzall 365 the mix rate and water volume used is based on the density of the weeds you are treating and the size of the area being treated. If weeds are small and young, a lower amount of water would be needed to get sufficient coverage. Whereas if you have tall dense weeds that are mature and more well established,  a higher water volume would be needed to get the product to cover the entire surface of the treated area and not just the top foliage. The product label goes on to say in the paragraph below the one you are referencing, that this indicated volume should be used over 1000 sq/ft. If you were to use 7.4 oz over 1500 sq/ft for instance, you would not get the same result as you would have spread the product too thinly. You can see our video below explaining why calibrating your sprayer and figuring out how much water volume you specifically will need for your individual treatment area is important to help you know how much solution to mix with water.
