Monterey Sluggo Molluscicide is an organically compliant slug killing granule made from iron phosphate that originates from soil and is used in fertilizers. Combined with other snail and slug bait additives Sluggo Molluscicide attracts snails and slugs away from plants and other hiding places to ingest the active ingredient. Once Sluggo Molluscicide is ingested slugs and snails stop feeding and even though they are still visible around plants they are no longer feeding on them. Slugs and snails will die in 3 to 6 days and will many times travel to hidden areas to die.

Scatter Sluggo Molluscicide on the soil in gardens, home lawns, greenhouses, fruits, outdoor ornamentals, citrus, crops, and berries. Any bait not eaten by slugs and snails will naturally degrade and incorporate into the soil.

slugs

Put the Sluggo in my flower beds, haven't seen any slugs since I put out.

Good buy. Pellets will decompose fast if they get wet and stay wet for long periods. Reapply as required the slugs and snails will avoid the moldy pellets.

Slugs and snail cannot see

Remember to knock down those pests and clean out debris. The target pests will find it eventually nearby plants, spigot walls, corner walls, raised irrigation heads, sidewalk turf (slugs). Wherever they climb my wall or the sidewalk is slimed seems to be clues. Also applying within a break of two days of no irrigation helps the product not mold too soon. Apply very lightly, this will be reapplied every two weeks at a minimum (unless the plants are potted and the “sluggo” is not near the drip line)
