    Should I spray Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester first or weed and feed first, and how long to wait between?
    i need to spray Triclopyr Ester to kill creeping charlie. I also need to spray weed and feed on my lawn. does it matter which one I spray first, and how long do I have to wait between treatments?

    You can apply either the Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester or the weed & feed first, it is up to you. You would want to wait 2-3 days between the application of the two products

    Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester is best applied to dry areas.  Slightly damp is ok but you do not want to apply when grass/weeds are soaked.  Typically best applied when no rain is expected 24 hours before or after application.

    Will Hi Yield Turflon Ester harm my Marathon II lawn while killing dandelions, bermuda and cowlick grass?
    A

    HI-YIELD Turflon Ester Ultra herbicide for the control of actively growing annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and kikuyugrass in perennial bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, or tall fescue. Marathon II lawns are commonly refered to as a dwarf tall fescue and because it is a specialty variety we are unsure of the effects of Turflon Ester Ultra on your turf variety. We would recommend performing a small spot treatment to test for sensitivity.

    Will Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester kill horsetail?
    A

    Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester is not labeled for horsetail.  We would suggest using something like Diquat instead.  Keep in mind that horsetail is very hard to control and it can be tough to properly penetrate through the plant. When using the Diquat you will need to mix it at the rate of 2-4 oz per gallon of water and mix it with an 80% nonionic surfactant.

    Will Hi-Yield Triclopyr Esterwork on Japanese stiltgrass?

    Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester is not labeled for Japanese stiltgrass. You could use Blindside herbicide which is labeled for stiltgrass. Be sure your type of turf is tolerant to this product.

    How much of Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester do I need to suppress Bermuda?
    A

    Hi-Yield Turflon Ester Ultra can be used on tall Fescue to control Bermuda grass. Per the product label, the application rate is 3/4 fl. oz. of product per gallon of water. You will likely have to do multiple applications to gain full control of the Bermuda grass. Applications can be done every 3-4 weeks.

    Can Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester be mixed with a plant growth regulator?

    There should be no issue tank mixing Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester with a plant growth regulator as long as the instructions on each label are followed.  Refer to the product labels of tank mix products and follow all appropriate use directions, precautions, and limitations.

    It can take about two weeks to start to see results after applying Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester.  You may need to make a second application after four weeks depending on what weeds you are treating.  Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

    Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester is not labelled for spotted spurge and may cause injury to Bermuda grass.  Monterey Spurge Power is labeled to treat spotted spurge in Bermuda grass. Please see the label for complete application instructions.

    Will Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester kill bentgrass?

    Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester is not specifically labled to treat for bentgrass.  However, the product label does stated that it may cause injury when applied to desirable bentgrass. The only products we carry that are specifically labeled to control bentrgrass would be  Tenacity or its generic,  Meso 4SC Select.

    With what and how much would I mix in a gallon sprayer of Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester to kill stumps?
    We call them pepper trees down in South Florida with the little red berries they are a nuisance.

    Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester can be applied as a foliar spray at a rate of 3/4 oz per gallon of water. Since this product is not labeled for cut stump applications, we cannot recommend that application with this specific product.

    Control of Brazilian Pepper Tree can be tricky, and which herbicide is best will depend on the time of year and method that you are using. This article from the Florida State Extension offers the most detailed recommendations for treating this invasive plant. Usually direct stump treatments offer the fastest control, however this is best done when the trees are not fruiting since seeds may be scattered and start new plants. Garlon 4 Ultra contains triclopyr ester and is labeled for control of Brazilian pepper.

    Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester is not labeled for cut stump applications. ? Remedy Ultra Herbicide is a similar product that is labeled for this use.  Cut Stump: 20 to 30 gallons with oil to make 100 gallons and Spray the Root Collar area, Sides of the Stump, and the Outer Portion of the Cut Surface, until fully wet.  .
