    When should I apply Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper to control annual blue grass in a St. Augustine & Centipede lawn? I live in in the northern part of SC.

    Most pre-emergent applications can be applied in early fall and spring.     Is Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension safe to use in pastures with horses? When can I turn the horses out after treatment?

    The Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension is not labeled for use on any type of pasture or grazing land. We recommend that you contact your local agricultural department and request more information on what can be used on the type of grass you have in your pasture.

    Will Hi-Yield /w Dimension Herbicide eradicate bluebonnets

    Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension Herbicide is not labeled to kill bluebonnets. Bluebonnets are crazy invasive and can sometimes be hard to treat. We recommend to contact Your Cooperative Extension office and speak with the Master Gardner in your area.

    Is Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension Herbicide effective against Chickweed?

    Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension Herbicide is not labeled to treat for chickweed. We cannot advise you that it will kill chickweed. We do sell Dimension 2EW which is labeled to treat for chickweed and would be a better alternative.

    What setting should be used with a Scotts standard spreader?

    The Hi-Yield Turf & Ornamental Weed and Grass Stopper product label has some spreader settings on it to review.  If your spreader is not listed, Scott's has a tool on their website here that could help.

    How early and how late in the Spring can I apply Hi Yield weed and Grass Stopper on my St. Augustine lawn?

    Hi Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension Herbicide can be used as early as February and as late as May in St. Augustine grass depending on where you live. We would recommend using a pre-emergent as soon as the soil temperature reaches 55 degrees Fahrenheit to prevent weeds before they come up.

    Does Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension Herbicide eliminate capsella bursa pastoris (shepherd's purse)?

    Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension Herbicide does treat capsella bursa pastoris, commonly known as Sheperd's Purse. The manufacturer advises the following options for Cool and Warm Season Lawns. Please refer to the product label for detailed information on applying. 

    Cool-season Grasses: 2.4 - 9.2 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. 

    Warm-season Grasses: 3.5 - 9.2 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft.

    Can Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension Herbicide be used along with a fungicide?
    I am going to use the Heritage zone 11 and Eagle 20EW zone 3.

    Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension Herbicide can be used with fertilizers around the same time.  You would not want to apply Eagle and Heritage at the same time as each other; it would be best to rotate every 2-3 applications between them instead.

    When is the best time to apply Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension?
    A

    Hi-Yield Weed and Grass Stopper with Dimension Herbicide can be applied from late summer through early fall (late August through November). When applied in the fall, a sequential or second application of this product must be made the following spring to provide season-long control of crabgrass. If this product is applied in the fall, do not reseed, overseed or sprig turf grasses within 12 weeks after application. We would recommend contacting your local extension office for the best time to apply this product in your county.
