Answer:

Quinclorac 1.5L should be applied at 1.45 oz.per gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft for spot spraying weeds directly.  For broadcasting across the lawn the label states to use 1.45 oz per 1000 sqft in at least 0.5 gallon of water but it could be 1-2 or more gallons to sufficiently cover the area.  Water is just the carrier when broadcasting so is not set and is however much water it takes you to cover the area which vary.   We have a video here that explains how to calibrate your sprayer for the amount of water it takes you to cover 1000 sqft
