    Does Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass Concentrate work on dandelions?
    I used Scotts Bonus S on my lawn last spring. I now have a lot of dandelions and other broad leaf weeds. Is there a granular form that I can use in my Scotts AccuGreen 3000 drop spreader?

    Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass is not labeled to control dandelions. Most post-emergent herbicides will be in liquid form since you will need to treat the foliage of the target plants. If you would like to tell us what type of lawn grass you have, then we can make a recommendation on a product that will work for your needs.

    Does Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass Concentrate kill burrgrass ?
    A

    Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass Concentrate was discontinued by the manufacturer many years ago; however this product contained Atrazine and was labeled for control of sandbur. If you have St. Augustine or Centipede and need to control sandbur, then you may consider Hi-Yield Atrazine instead.

    Do you recommend 2 3/4 oz of Image Herbicide per gallon for spot spraying?

    The product label for Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass Concentrate states to use 4.3 fl. ozs. mixed with 1 gallon of water treats 500 sq. ft.

    Can I use Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass Concentrate on my dormant Zoysia grass?
    I have Poa annua and mouse ear coming up in the lawn

    Image Herbicide for St Augustine and Centipede grass is only labeled as safe to use on St Augustine and Centipede lawns. If you are looking for a product that is safe to use on Zoysia, you may want to consider Image Kills Nutsedge Concentrate instead which is labeled for use on zoysia and other warm season lawns and is labeled to control Poa Annua and Mouseear Chickweed. Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions.

    Can I use Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass Concentrate in a few weeks as a pre-emergent?

    Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass Concentrate is a post-emergent product, which means that it will kill weeds that are present and actively growing.     How soon after applying Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede is it okay for rain?
    A

    Per the label of Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass Concentrate, rain or water within 2 or 3 days of application may decrease the effectiveness on emerged weeds. However, for the control of weeds from seeds, rainfall or water-ing is necessary within 7 to 10 days after treatment. So you would want to apply 48-72 hours prior to rain be expected.

    Will my grass die after over application of Image Herbicide?
    I put Image down on my St Augustine grass at a 5 per 1000 instead of 4 per 1000 will I kill my St Augustine

    It is absolutely possible to damage your turf with Image Herbicide if you apply too much product over the treatment area but only time will tell.

    Why was Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass Concentrate discontinued?
    This herbicide has always served me well and does not kill St. Augustine grass

    It was not our decision to discontinue the Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass Concentrate This decision was made by the manufacturer. We do carry Hi-Yield Atrazine Weed Killer, which also has Atrazine as the active ingredient and is labeled for use on St. Augustine and Centipede grass.

    Per the manufacturer of Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass Concentrate, it is recommended to apply using a conventional compressed air garden sprayer equipped with a flat fan spray tip.
