    so many weed control products are for St Augustine, but cannot be used on Floratam grass. Can this product be used ?

    For spring applications of Image Herbicide does it matter if the lawn is cut or not?

    You can mow your grass 2 days before applying Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass and at least 3-4 days after application.

    How long until I can mow my grass after application of Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass Concentrate?

    It is recommended to wait at least 2 days to mow your lawn after applying herbicides such as Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass. You should not apply herbicides within 2 days of mowing.

    Should I water the grass before/after applying Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass?
    A

    During dormant season, rainfall or watering is necessary within 7 to 10 days after application of Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass to control seedlings. During the growing season, best results are usually obtained when applied in early Spring, and rain or water within 2 or 3 days of application may decrease the effectiveness on emerged weeds.

    I over sprayed my centipede grass with Image and in four days it browned
    I used pump sprayer at the recommended mix and grass turned brown. Grass had turned green from winter dormant stage. Had this killed it? Green to brown in four days

    It is absolutely possible to damage your turf with Image Herbicide if you apply too much product over the treatment area. Keep in mind this could occur from just using too much or perhaps from product not being mixed properly. Another possibility that sometimes occurs is that if there were residue from another product in your sprayer such as glyphosate/roundup or even a totally different kind of product which is not meant to be sprayed on turf, that could cause injury. If you have any turf type other than centipede or St Augustine, Atrazine will likely damage your turf. We are sorry that you had trouble with this product.     Will Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass treat chamberbitter in a St. Augustine/Centipede mixed lawn in south Georgia?

    Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass is not labeled to treat chamberbitter. You can use a product like Hi Yield Atrazine which has been proven very effective in treating chamberbitter. Hi Yield Atrazine is labeled for use in both St. Augustine and centipede lawns.

    My yard has no specific type of grass but a lot of sandspur sprouting...is Image what I would use to kill it?

    Will Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass kill dallisgrass?
    A

    Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass is not labeled to treat dallisgrass. Unfortunately there are no products available that will kill the Dallisgrass without killing the surrounding St. Augustine grass. The best option once it has emerged is to either spot spray or wipe on something like Round Up Quick Pro, or hand dig up the clumps of dallisgrass down to the root system and re-seed.

    How long does it take Image Herbicide to kill spurweed after applied?
    Centipede grass, using Image. Three days sprayed showing no sign of dying.

    Image Herbicide for St. Augustine Grass and Centipede Grass is a slow kill product and can take a few weeks to kill weeds.  Though the product label states the following: Control of Spurweed can best be obtained by applying when Spurweed has newly emerged (December and January.).  If the spurweed is already established the product will not be very effective at killing it.

    Per the Image Herbicide for St. Augstine Grass and Centipede Grass Concentrate label: This product is to be mixed with water only. Combinations with other chemicals in the application mixture are not recommended.

    Centipede grass is beginning to come out of dormant due to such warm temperatures but mostly still brown.

    Yes, per the label Image Herbicide for St. Augustine and Centipede Grass Concentrate may be applied to both types of grasses during the dormant and growing seasons.

    Image Herbicide for St Augustine and Centipede grass is only labeled as safe to use on St Augustine and Centipede lawns. If you are looking for a product that is safe to use on Zoysia you may want to try the Image Kills Nutsedge Concentrate which is labeled for use on zoysia and other warm season lawns.
