APPLICATION ON TURFGRASS
QUALI-PRO IMIDACLOPRID 2F TURF and ORNAMENTAL INSECTICIDE may be used to control listed insect pests on turfgrass in residential lawns, business and office complexes, shopping complexes, multi-family residential complexes, golf courses, airports, cemeteries, parks, playgrounds, athletic fields and sod farms.
QUALI-PRO IMIDACLOPRID 2F TURF and ORNAMENTAL INSECTICIDE controls listed soil-inhabiting pests such as Northern and Southern masked chafers, Cyclocephala borealis, C. immaculata, and/or C. lurida; Asiatic garden beetle, Maladera castanea; European chafer, Rhizotrogus majalis; Green June beetle, Cotinis nitida; May or June beetle, Phyllophaga spp.; Japanese beetle, Popillia japonica; Oriental beetle, Anomala orientalis; Billbugs Spherophorus spp.; Annual bluegrass weevil, Hyperodes spp.; Black turfgrass ataenius, Ataenius spretulus and Aphodius spp.; European Crane Fly, Tipula paludosa; and mole crickets, scapteriscus spp.
QUALI-PRO IMIDACLOPRID 2F TURF and ORNAMENTAL INSECTICIDE can also be used for suppression of cutworms and chinch bugs.
For optimum control, make applications preceding or during the egg-laying period of the target pest. The active ingredient in QUALI-PRO IMIDACLOPRID 2F TURF and ORNAMENTAL INSECTICIDE has enough residual activity so that applications can be made preceding the egg-laying activity. Application timing can be based on historical monitoring of the site, previous records or experiences, current season adult trapping or other methods. Most favorable control will be achieved when applications are made prior to egg hatch of the target pests. Follow applications with sufficient irrigation or rainfall to move the active ingredient through the thatch.
RESTRICTIONS: Do not make applications when turfgrass areas are waterlogged or the soil is saturated with water. Sufficient distribution of the active ingredient cannot be achieved under these conditions. The treated turf area must be in such a condition that the rainfall or irrigation will penetrate vertically in the soil profile.
Do not exceed a total of 1.6 pt (0.4 lb of active ingredient)/A per year.
Apply QUALI-PRO IMIDACLOPRID 2F TURF and ORNAMENTAL INSECTICIDE in sufficient water to provide adequate distribution in the treated area. The use of accurately calibrated equipment normally used for the application of turfgrass insecticides is required. Use equipment which will produce a uniform, coarse droplet spray, using a low-pressure setting to eliminate off-target drift. Check calibration periodically to ensure that equipment is working properly.
RESTRICTION: Do not apply through any irrigation system.
APPLICATION TO ORNAMENTALS
QUALI-PRO IMIDACLOPRID 2F TURF and ORNAMENTAL INSECTICIDE is for use on ornamentals in commercial and residential landscapes and interior plantscapes. QUALI-PRO IMIDACLOPRID 2F TURF and ORNAMENTAL INSECTICIDE is a systemic product and will be taken up into the plant system from root uptake. The product must be placed where the growing portion of the target plant can absorb the active ingredient. The addition of a nitrogen-containing fertilizer, where applicable, into the solution may enhance the uptake of the active ingredient. Application can be made by foliar application or soil applications including soil injection, drenches, and broadcast sprays. Foliar applications offer locally systemic activity against insect pests.
When making soil applications to plants with woody stems, systemic activity will be delayed until the active ingredient is taken up throughout the plant. In some cases, this translocation delay could take 60 days or longer. For this reason, apply prior to anticipated pest infestation to achieve optimum levels of control.
RESTRICTIONS:
Ant Management Programs
Use QUALI-PRO IMIDACLOPRID 2F TURF and ORNAMENTAL INSECTICIDE to control aphids, scale insects, mealybugs and other sucking pests on ornamentals to limit the honeydew available as a food source for ant populations. QUALI-PRO IMIDACLOPRID 2F TURF and ORNAMENTAL INSECTICIDE applications can be then supplemented with residual sprays, bait placements or other ant control tactics to further reduce the pest population.
APPLICATION EQUIPMENT FOR FOLIAR APPLICATIONS
QUALI-PRO IMIDACLOPRID 2F TURF and ORNAMENTAL INSECTICIDE mixes readily with water and may be used in many types of application equipment. Mix product with the required amount of water and apply as desired dependent upon the selected use pattern.
When making foliar applications on hard to wet foliage such as holly, pine or ivy, the addition of a spreader/sticker is recommended. If concentrate or mist type spray equipment is used, an equivalent amount of product should be used on the area sprayed as would be used in a dilute application.
QUALI-PRO IMIDACLOPRID 2F TURF and ORNAMENTAL INSECTICIDE has been found to be compatible with commonly used fungicides, miticides, liquid fertilizers, and other commonly used insecticides. Check physical compatibility using the correct proportion of products in a small jar test if local experience is unavailable.

7 Year Booster for Termite Control
By Carl on 07/09/2021
Easy to mix, follow directions. This is the same product as was applied by my former pest control company. I performed my foundation booster myself and saved $700. I also saved a $150 annual inspection as I can treat and inspect my crawl space myself. I will also apply this treatment to my farm house, barn and outbuildings. Thank you !

Quali - Pro Imidacloprid 2F

First of all learn how to safely use this product! Do not use on bee loving flowering plants, flowering bushes and flowering trees. Read the label! We love this product because we have saved thousands of dollars doing our own tree pest control. We just wish our neighbors used it too because their bugs and beetles fly into our yard! We can control the bugs but not the neighbors!

Results

Had nice results with this as a soil drench + foliar app per label for Japanese beetles and other insects on Yoshino cherries and Japanese maples. Will do this as a preventative measure next year. Also like the convenience of being able to apply it to turf along with a fungicide app. Tank mixes fine with azoxy 2sc, propiconazole 14.3, and daconil weatherstik. Fast shipping too.

Imidacloprid T and O 2F mix rate 1.25 to 1.6 pt/A or 0.46 to 0.6 fl. oz. (14 to 17 mL) per 1000 sq. ft. in sufficient water to provide adequate distribution in the treated area. Typically 1-2 gallons covers 1000 sqft but it could take you more depending on your walking speed and equipment used.

Treating Japanese beetles on rose bud tree
When using Quali - Pro Imidacloprid 2F as a soil drench for beetles you should use 0.2 fl. oz. (3 to 6 mL) per inch of trunk diameter (D.B.H.) diluted in 1 pint - 1 gallon of water per inch of trunk diameter.
The amount of water that is used will vary depending on soil conditions and volumes that are easy for applicators to use. The minimum amount of water that should be used is 1 pint per inch of trunk diameter but you may use 1 quart -1 gallon of water per inch of trunk diameter. Denser soils such as clay do not accept water as readily, so the lower volume of water is suggested. Since sandy soils can accept more water, using the higher volume of water is preferred. After the soil drench has been applied you should water it in with at east 1/2 inch of water. Note: Water simply acts as a carrier and it is important that even distribution of the product is achieved. Thus, more water may be used if the applicator feels runoff will not occur and proper penetration of the root zone is achieved. Insecticides applied to the soil are taken up by the roots and trans-located throughout the tree or shrub. Root/soil drenches offer the advantage of requiring no special equipment to apply (other than a bucket or watering can). However, surface layers of organic matter, such as mulch or leaf litter, can bind the insecticide and reduce uptake. Before applying drenches, it is important to remove or pull back any mulch or dead leaves so the insecticide solution is poured directly on the mineral soil. It is also important to keep the soil around the tree or shrub moist for the next 7-10 days after applications to encourage uptake.

Quali - Pro Imidacloprid 2F are not labeled to control these tiny wasps or to treat for Horned Oak Gall. We would recommend contacting your local Cooperative Extension Office for recommendations or studies they have done on insecticides to control this insect. There are no chemical treatment methods that have proven to be effective for this.
