Bifen IT is labeled to treat for termites and lasts for about 5 years in the ground and works as a repellent, killing only those insects that come into contact with the treated area. If you are dealing with subterranean termites, you want to use a product that has a "transfer-kill" effect. Termidor SC or Taurus SC are great products to use to treat termites and prevent them. Termidor Foam can be used for active infestations only. All of the products are non-repellents and transfer back to the colony. Please see our Termite Control Page.
