Is Maxforce Quantum Ant Bait safe around pets?

Is the Maxforce Quantum ant bait effective against carpenter ants? Also, is it, or are other Maxforce carpenter ant baits, pet-friendly?

Maxforce Quantum Ant Bait is labeled to treat for a variety of ants except for fire, harvester and carpenter ants. It is recommended to apply baits in locations that are out of reach of children and pets. This applies to all baits. Maxforce Carpenter Ant Bait Gel and/or Advance Carpenter Ant Bait can be used when specifically treating for carpenter ants.
