- Kills the queen and the colony.
- Keeps on working for up to 3 months.
- Effective indoors and outdoors.
Maxforce Quantum Ant Bait is designed to take advantage of trophallaxis (food exchange) in ants, allowing for transfer of imidacloprid within the ant colony. Foraging ants that feed on the bait will return to the nest and transfer the bait to the queen(s) and the entire colony. Dead worker ants and a reduction in ant numbers should be noticeable within a few days.
Place bait in areas of known for aging activity, along foraging trails and into nest sites. A careful inspection will help to identify sites suitable for bait placement; also, resident interviews can help to identify areas where ant activity has been observed. Apply bait into cracks, crevices, holes or other small openings where ants travel. Apply bait in small spots or beads on horizontal surfaces wherever possible as bait will not adhere well to vertical surfaces. The amount of bait required for effective control will depend on the severity of the ant infestation; the total amount of bait applied must not exceed the application rate outlined be low.
- Indoors: apply at rates up to 2.0 g per 100 sq ft of floor space. For example, apply 10 x 0.2-g bait placements (ca. 1/4 inch Spots) in a 100 square foot kitchen in the areas where ants are seen or reported to be foraging.
- Outdoors: apply spots or beads of bait up to 0.2 g of bait per placement in areas where ant activity is observed.
- Entrance to Ant Nests: inject up to 2.0 g of bait directly into nest entrance.
- Along Active Foraging Trails: apply 0.6 g of bait per 10 linear feet of ant trail, distributing the bait in a number of spots or in a series of small beads (1/8 inch wide, and 1 to 2 inches long) next to foraging trails.
During follow up visits inspect bait placements and reapply as needed; reapply bait in the same location if all the bait is gone or in a different area if no ant activity is evident.

Maxforce Quantum Ant Bait
By Nc in Charlotte NC on 08/08/2012
A bit pricy, but they say you get what you pay for. This bait out performed other ant baits that I purchase at Lowes, Home Deport and other Home Improvement Centers. Maxforce was recommended by an individual who worked for a Professional Pest Control Service. I took his advice, received the product, filled one station and whalla NO ANTS where they were entering the house. If they show up again , station out..So far no ants in 3 weeks...Excellent product..

Seems to Help
By Dan in San Leon, TX. on 11/18/2013
I believe this is the carbohdrate (sugar) bait for crazy ants. They were attracted to it in several cases (as info described) and it did seem to deter them. It was more effective w/o the plastic stations. I used it inside & outside & felt safe since no pets/kids. With this & the protein bait I believe the crazy ants are less but may never be eliminated. Some residual crazy ants continue to forage but no infestations as before. Glad to find a bait instead of only insecticide (Talstar) treatments. Maxforce Quantum Ant Bait seemed safe to use. There was a mixup on ordering but this vendor resolved it in good fashion after my returning another product.

I suspect it is far superior to the retail product available... However I consider it very expensive.
We agree that Maxforce Quantum is far superior to products you can buy in retail shops. We think perhaps you should consider using the product in the diluted solution (instructions included on label) so the product will go further for you. Please let us know if you have any questions. We are always happy to help!

Excellent for ghost ants`
By John in CLEARWATER on 07/10/2017
I encounter ghost ants a lot, I love Quantum it works Key to success " prebait " where you see activity and wait 20-30 mins and come back you will see a most likely a trail, bait the source and 7-10 days later gone simple as that!
maxforce is the best
By Liz in sarasota florida on 12/22/2017
I have used this product before and it works GREAT for pharaoh/ghost ants. I tried a lot of other things and nothing worked, but this works very quickly. The plastic bait holders are worthless, as the ants do not go in, they crawl under or around. I put a drop on a small piece of coated cardboard and place it in their path. Within 24 hrs. they are gone. I did have problems with the last container it came in, it leaked and I'd get it on my hands. This is a new container design, so I hope it does better.
So Far So Good
By Peter in Cape Coral on 11/24/2017
It may be a bit early to tell but so far so good. We had virtually NO insects in the house except these very very tiny ants. The lovely people at Do My Own suggested this product. We put a bit in each of the 10 trays and then set them on and under all the sinks in the house. That was about 3 weeks ago and I have not seen any little ants. The trays make it not so messy so great idea. I hope it continues to work.
Like a magic potion
By Aaron in Oakland on 10/13/2017
Two days after putting one application in our kitchen and we haven't seen any ants in the house. I put it outside where I've found ants and they're all gone. Side Effects may include feeling like a homicidal maniac.
By Ldl in Florida on 09/07/2017
This product is amazing. Goes to work immediately. The DoMyOwn price was less than all others I found, and with fast shipping I couldn't be more pleased with the experience.

kills the little black ants and their queen
By J. in High desert California on 08/08/2017
My house gets invaded by those pesky small black ants that get into everything! Last 2 years I purchased a stronger ant bait system and it worked great, but I had a lot left over and the shelf life expired and it was ineffective after that. This time I bought this smaller sized bait system and it worked fantastic. It allows the ants to consume and take the bait back to the queen and kills the nest, so it takes a few days. Used this in 4 different locations and now there are no more ants! Will definitely buy more if they come back.
ants won't go for it
By Ant in bethesda, md on 08/07/2017
had three different nests of ants at the house. maxforce quantum ant bait only worked on one of the nests. and that was only after exclusively giving those ants this bait. two stars. this head to head against a sugar+borax solution the little black ants just ignore this. it worked no faster than sugar+borax and infact might have been a little slower as ants did not immediately go for this bait.

Great for Rover and smaller ants
By Pat in Arizona on 07/29/2017
I live in an older neighborhood in Phoenix, with a ton of rover and smaller ants. This still takes care of them pretty quickly, and stays effective. It helps to draw them out with a few small drops in an area where you see activity. After 20-30 minutes, you will likely see a dramatic increase in activity if a nest is near. Then place multiple drops in their line and watch them feast. This strategy has worked extremely well and has taken out multiple nests. i cannot recommend this product highly enough.

QHow much Maxforce Quantum Ant Bait should be put in a bait station? How many bait stations will one 120g tube fill?
A The Maxforce Quantum Ant Bait manufacturer recommends that you apply 0.2 grams per 100 square feet of floor space, or to apply 0.6 grams of bait per 10 lineal feet of foraging ant trails. There will be more bait than stations as they are reusable.

QWill Maxforce Quantum harm honey bees since it's a sugar based attractant?
The entrance on the tray looks big enough for bees
A We have not heard of the Maxforce Quantum Ant Bait or the included stations being used around honey bees, but if they were to get into the station and ingest the product it could kill them. If you are trying to control hive beetles, the most commonly purchased product for hive beetle control is the Maxforce FC Roach Bait stations. These stations are purchased by honey bee farmers and seem to be very effective.
