General Application:
Kalida Fungicide should be applied as a broadcast foliar application in enough water to provide thorough coverage. For turf applications, use 43 to 87 gallons of water per acre, or 1 to 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For soil-borne diseases, use enough water to move the active ingredients into the crown and upper root zone. Irrigation after application is recommended for certain soil-borne diseases as directed on the label.
Standard Turf Disease Rate:
Apply Kalida Fungicide at 11.5 to 17.3 fl. oz. per acre, or 0.25 to 0.4 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. Use the shorter application interval and/or higher labeled rate when disease pressure is high or when favorable disease conditions are prolonged. Do not exceed 17.3 fl. oz. per acre in a single application.
Preventative or Favorable Disease Conditions:
For anthracnose basal and foliar, apply on a 7 to 14 day interval. For brown patch or Rhizoctonia blight, apply on a 14 to 28 day interval. For copper spot and dollar spot, apply on a 7 to 14 day interval. For leaf spot, leaf and sheath blight, powdery mildew, and rusts, apply on a 14 to 21 day interval.
Fall Preventative Applications:
For large patch, apply preventatively in fall on a 21 to 28 day interval. Make 2 preventative treatments when soil temperatures at a 2-inch depth reach 50°F for 5 consecutive days. Irrigation is recommended after treatment to incorporate the product. For spring dead spot, apply preventatively in fall on a 21 to 28 day interval. Make 2 preventative treatments when soil temperatures at a 2-inch depth are consistently below 70°F.
