Killzall II Weed and Grass Killer 41% Glyphosphate should be sprayed when weeds first start to actively grow in the spring. We do not recommend applying this product when temps get over 85F.
As long as you keep pets/children out of the area while you treat and until the Killzall II Weed and Grass Killer treated areas have had time to completely dry or settle it is safe for pets and people to return and resume normal activity, typically after 4-6 hours.
Killzall II Weed and Grass Killer is rainfast within 6 hours, best to apply when no rain is expected within 24 hours though just to be safe.
Killzall II Weed and Grass Killer contains glyphosate as the active ingredient, a non-selective that can kill weeds growing around the pine straw, and it can kill down to the roots but the active doesn't last long in the soil. Depending on the type of weeds you're trying to kill, Killzall II will make anywhere from 24 to over 400 gallons of solution. If you want to have an active that will prevent weeds from growing in the area for up to, or close to, a year you can use a product like TVC Total Vegetation Control which is a soil sterilant and it can be mixed with Killzall II Weed and Grass Killer.
