Kind LED K3 Series2 XL300 Grow Light is considered as one of the best spectrum grow light in the market today that will help enhance and elevate your plant growth. It is specially designed with home and commercial growers in mind, offering reliable and incomparable quality and yield during harvest. It features the newly improved 3-watt light-emitting UV diodes which produces an intensified spectrum to amplify your plant's quality and potency. It also offers the expanded 12-band spectrum and re-calibrated secondary optical lenses which help significantly increase the harvest weight and density of flowers. LED Technology provides efficiency and excellent performance but with 40 percent less consumption of electricity compared to other grow lights. It has a 50,000-hour life span which lasts longer than regular bulbs, making it more low maintenance without sacrificing the outcome. It also runs quietly, plus it has minimal to zero heat, eliminating the need for cooling elements. It is made of durable materials so it ensures long-lasting use and service. Parts include power cord inlet, power switch, and brass hanging anchor. The hanging hardware allows easier placement and allows you to install it almost anywhere. The Kind LED XL300 has 300 watts and weighs 14.76 lbs. Offers up to 3 years of warranty.
The included hanging hardware is easy to install and requires no tools. Simply attach the clips on the ends of the wire hangers to each of the four gold hanging anchors on top of the light.
IMPORTANT: Insert the power cord into the back of your KIND light first and then into a properly grounded power receptacle. Please make sure that all power requirements are considered if running multiple lights on one circuit. (Consult an electrician if you are unsure).
Your light is now ready to be turned on via the green switch on the back of the light.
There are certain diodes that emit Infrared light and others emit UV light. The IR diodes appear to be off and the UV diodes emit a dull blue light. Do not be alarmed as these diodes are on, working properly, and doing their job.
Your light should be positioned above the plant canopy at a distance that creates your ideal coverage area. The further away from the canopy the light is positioned, the bigger the coverage area. However, this will also lessen the light's intensity. The recommended height is 18 in. to 22 in. above the canopy for the XL300/XL450 and 30 in. to 34 in. for the XL600. While all plants are different, we suggest keeping minimum distance of 14 in. between light and canopy.
Q: How close should my light be to the top of my plant canopy?
A: Due to the massive amount of light that Kind LED lights to emit, the recommended hanging height above our plants is 18 in. to 24 in. (XL300/450) and 30 in. to 34 in. (XL600). Some high light use strains will be able to tolerate closer hanging heights, but we recommended that the light not be set closer than 14 in.
Q: Can I transfer plants from HPS or Fluorescents straight to my new Kind LED?
A: You most certainly can, but due to the fact that LED lights put out a very different type of light, it will take a few days for your plants to adjust to the new light. Space permitting, to minimize the adjustment period, set light height higher than recommended, gradually lowering over 3-4 days until your plants are used to the new light.
Q: Can your lights run on 240v?
A: Yes! Kind LED lights can run safely on voltages ranging from 110v all the way up to 240v. The cord will need to be changed out to accommodate the different voltages, but this will be all you need!
Q: Can I still use CO2 in my room with my Kind LED?
A: Absolutely! One of the greatest benefits of higher room temps when growing with LEDs is that the plants' ability to assimilate CO2 greatly increases when temps are raised to 82-85 degrees. In fact, it is widely believed to be the ideal temperature for this process to take place, meaning your plants are fully utilizing that tank of gas that was such a pain in the butt to drag into your grow room.
