    Drench on culinary herbs
    What is the wait time after using Kontos as a drench on greenhouse grown herbs before the herbs can be harvested and consumed?
    A
    According to the manufacturer, Kontos SC Insecticide/Miticide should not be applied to greenhouse grown vegetables other than vegetable transplants. This product should not be used on plants that are currently in bloom.

    How long is Kontos SC Insecticide/Miticide active after sprayed?

    The Kontos SC Insecticide/Miticide product label says to reapply every 14-28 days if needed.

    Can Kontos be added to a reservoir for a dripper system ??
    A
    Kontos Insecticide/Miticide is labeled to be used in irrigation systems but the label does not state anything about reservoirs.  We would recommend contacting the manufacturer OHP Inc, directly for confiramtion on this use.  They can be reached at 1-800-659-6745.

    How long should we wait to consume herb plants after Kontos SC Insecticide Miticide has been applied?
    I have few flats of herbs that were accidentally sprayed with Kontos and my question is how long to wait to consume the plants?

    Kontos SC Insecticide Miticide is not labeled for application on herbs so it would not be recommended to consume anything that was accidentialy sprayed.  It would be best to dispose of them.

    Is Kontos SC Insecticide Miticide recommended for control of root aphids?

    Kontos SC Insecticide Miticide  is labeled for aphids in containerized plants, flowers, foliage plants, groundcovers, ornamentals in flats or plugtrays, shrubs and trees.

    How much Kontos per gallon for soil drench application of aphids?

    Kontos SC Insecticide Miticide is not labeled to be used as a soil drench for aphids and would only be applied as a foliar application.

    Does Kontos Miticide have an odor?
    Can you smell this product after soil drench application? Does it have a strong odor like other systemics?

    According to the product Safety Data Sheet for Kontos SC Insecticide Miticide, this product has an "aromatic" odor. Unfortunately, we are no longer selling this product so we do not have a bottle on our premises to check for you.

    What is the rate for a small batch drench application with Kontos SC Insecticide Miticide?
    Could you please provide me with small batch ratios for foliar application as well as soil drench.

    Kontos SC Insecticide Miticide rates are based on what type of plants you’re treating, along with what type of pest you’re treating for.  Please refer to the product label for your specific application rates.
