The Koppert Thripor-I Predatory Bugs 100 ml (4011) effectively controls a variety of thrips species in larvae and adult stages. Per 100ml bottle holds 1,000 Orius insidiosus (flower bug-adults and nymphs) mixed with vermiculite. Predatory bugs work with their mouthparts by piercing the larvae and adult thrips. Once eaten, target species eventually shrivel and will be hard to see in the crops. In the absence of thrips, predatory bugs can still survive on pollen, butterfly eggs, spider mites and aphids.
For application, make sure to turn and shake the bottle lightly before administration. Distribute materials on a neat rockwool slab, leaves and/or in application boxes or DIBOX. Groups of 75 to 100 insects will boost mating to be able to monitor on reproduction. The material should remain at its introduction site for a few days.
