    Q
What is the mix rate for LambdaStar UltraCap 9.7% for exterior perimeter applications vs broadcast applications to the lawn?
I see that the mix rate is 0.2 to 0.8 oz per gallon for general application/barrier around foundation. However, the lawn/ornamental is much lower at around 0.1 to 0.2 fl oz per gallon per 1000 sq ft. Spot treatment applications in the lawn are applied at 0.5 fl oz per 1-2.5 gallons of water. 5 to 0.1oz per gallon. Is it ok to apply at something like 0.5oz/gallon for my home foundation perimeter, my lawn, and my bushes/trees or do I really need to dilute to broadcast spray my yard? Just curious if there is a downside to applying a higher concentration to my yard? I want a longer residual around my trees and lawn for mosquitoes mainly.

The different rates on the LambdaStar UltraCap 9.7% product label are advised per the manufacturer’s research and testing for best results.

For Lawn Applications: Apply 3.4 ml to 7 ml (0.1 to 0.2 fl oz) in 2 to 5 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft of lawn unless otherwise indicated for certain pests such as fire ants or spot treatments.

For Ornamentals (including landscape Beds, trees, shrubs, flowers, evergreens, foliage plants and groundcovers): Apply at 0.15 to 0.05 fl oz per gallon of water (1.5 fl oz to 5 fl oz per 100 gallons of water)

For Exterior Perimeter Foundations: Apply at 0.2, 0.4 or 0.8 fl oz per gallon of water spraying 3ft up the foundation and 10ft out from the foundation.

Spot treatment applications are 0.5fl oz per 1 – 2.5 gallons of water.
