SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING

Do not apply near water, storm drains or drainage ditches. Do not apply if heavy rain is expected. Apply this product only to your lawn/garden. 

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TURFGRASS ESTABLISHMENT

Balanced fertilization based upon soil test recommendations is essential for new seedlings, sprigging operations, and sod installation. Apply LAUNCH at a rate of 29-32 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (10-11 gallons/acre). For knitting of sod and maximum germination of cool-season grasses from seed or establishment of warm-season grasses from sprigs and/or seed. A second application at the same rates is recommended in 14 days. 

Soil applications of LAUNCH before or at seeding or sprigging are recommended. LAUNCH can be applied over-the-top of newly installed sod. 

Irrigation or rainfall (0.25-0.50 inches of water) within 24 hours after planting or sodding operations will enhance the performance of LAUNCH.

Use at least one gallon of water per 1,000 square feet (40 gallons of water per acre) when applying this product.

ATHLETIC FIELD MAINTENANCE

Sites such as Football, Soccer, and Baseball fields, and Bowling Greens.

Apply LAUNCH at 29-32 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (10-11 gallons/acre) at spring green-up and for continued use on heavily trafficked areas. Repeat application every 30 days. One or two fall applications of LAUNCH can be beneficial for deep root development. For maintenance programs throughout the sports season, mix 15 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (5 gallons/acre) of LAUNCH with 4.5 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (1.5 gallons/acre) of FOCUS and apply on a monthly basis.

HYDROSEEDING

Apply LAUNCH at 29-32 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (10-11 gallons/acre). Add LAUNCH to the seed, mulch and fertilizer mix. A second application of LAUNCH is recommended in 14 days. 

Additional applications can be made with LAUNCH at the rate of 15 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (5 gallons/acre) or combines with FOCUS at a rate of 4.5 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (1.5 gallons/acre). The above methods also apply to the establishment of wildflowers. When mixing LAUNCH with wildflowers during hydroseeding, lower the rate to 8 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet.

HOME LAWNS

For newly seeded, sodded or sprigged lawns, apply at a rate of 29 oz. per 1000 square feet (10 gallons/acre). Repeat in 14 days and continue applications on a monthly basis until the turf is dense. For a continued maintenance program on established turf, use a combination of LAUNCH at 15 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (5 gallons/acre) and FOCUS at 4.5 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (1.5 gallons/acre) on a monthly basis. 

PRE-GERMINATION OF SEED

When using LAUNCH to pre-germinate seed, use a rate of 16 fl. oz., plus 2 fl. oz. of a non-ionic wetting agent, in 10 gallons of water. 

PLANT DIP

To promote rooting of new flowers, ornamentals, shrubs, and/or trees, apply LAUNCH to the roots at a rate of 8 fl. oz. per one gallon of water.

GOLF COURSE GREENS

For new construction, apply LAUNCH at a rate of 29-32 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (10-aa gallons/acre) at the time of seeding, sodding or sprigging. Repeat in 14 days to enhance turf establishment. Future monthly applications are recommended until the turf is dense. For continued maintenance programs for established turf use a combination of LAUNCH at 15 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (5 gallons/acre) a FOCUS at 4.5 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (1.5 gallons/acre) on a monthly basis.

When overseeding greens, apply LAUNCH at the time of overseeding at 29 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (10 gallons/acre) and repeat with two applications timed fourteen days apart at a rate of 15 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (5 gallons/acre).

GOLF COURSE TEES

To promote overseeing on golf courses tees (especially par-3's and the practice tee) and increased spreading of turf into the divots, apply LAUNCH at a rate of 29 fl. oz. per 1,000 square feet (10 gallons/acre) once a month or at 15 fl. oz. per 1,000 thousand square feet (5 gallons/acre) every two weeks.

Tank Mix Compatibility: LAUNCH can be tank mixed with most pesticides and fertilizers and surfactants. Avoid mixing LAUNCH with strong acidic or alkaline materials. Always check all materials for compatibility before use.
