My daughter in law used some of this bottle I had bought and dipped her dogs and sprayed the small penned area they use outside and no more fleas , no more ticks . It has been about 3 weeks and she has used 2 applications . We will order some more soon . I used on a puppy we had that was confirmed with mange. The vet gave him medicine and we used the dip too . No more mange and it has been about a month now , he is mean and honery as ever again. Thanks !!!

It was recommended by the manufacturer of Martins Flea, Tick and Mange Dip for longevity of treatment. After you apply, if you bathe them it will wash the treatment off, so it is recommended to do so before.
Because, sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide product for pets, we do not recommend that you apply any essential oil sprays. If essential oils have been used, bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.

If I'm supposed to apply directly to my dog why does the directions say... A. Do not allow adults, children, or pets to enter treated areas until spray has dried.. B. Do not apply this product that will contact adults, children, or pets either directly or through drift?? What's up!??
Martins Flea, Tick and Mange Dip will not kill flea eggs. We recommend using something like Petcor Flea spray which is labeled to treat flea eggs and flea adults.

It would be recommended to wash any skin areas with soap and water that Martins FLEE Flea, Tick and Mange Dip may contact from a shaking dog, if so it is safe as long as you do not allow the product to dry on skin or touch your eyes/mouth before washing.

I dipped my dog 2 hours ago . I just looked I see fleas running on his belly.
It may take several minutes or hours for fleas contacted with Martins FLEE Flea, Tick and Mange Dip to die. Keep in mind, too, that there could be fleas in the environment that have jumped onto the pet since the treatment. Be sure that you are treating indoors and outdoors as needed to control the flea population, too. We have more tips in our online Flea Treatment Guide here.
