Martins Permethrin 10% is NOT labeled for bedbugs. Please look at our Bed Bug Kits for all the necessary products to do a full treatment for bed bugs. It is recommended after you see evidence bed bugs are in your home that you treat completely to prevent further infestations. Bed Bugs can lay go up to 18 months without eating making it very likely for them to reappear.
To treat your couch alone, we would recommend using Bedlam Aerosol spray in the tufts and folds of the couch and underside of the cushions.

Dilute 8 ozs. in 12.5 gals. of water
Thoroughly wet the animal by dipping, sponging or spraying. Allow animal to dry in a warm place without rinsing or toweling. Do not reapply product for two to three weeks. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals on medication.
Martins Permethrin 10% can be applied as a spray to the lawn for various listed insects on the label. The guidelines for dogs is the following:
Dilute 8 ozs. in 12.5 gals. of water
Thoroughly wet the animal by dipping, sponging or spraying.
Allow animal to dry in a warm place without rinsing or
toweling. Do not reapply product for two to three weeks.
Consult a veterinarian before using this product on
debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals on medication.
It is best to follow the manufacturer's instructions on the label for proper usage of the product.

You will use 8 fl. oz. of Martins Permethrin 10% per 12.5 gallons of water for dipping for fleas.
Martin's Permethrin 10% is not lableled to kill bedbugs, and permethrin usually is not recommended for bed bug control due to the high chance of resistance. Martins Permethrin 10% is mixed at 1.33 fl oz per gallon of water (2.66 TBSP) per 1,000 sq ft for treating indoor pests. Please refer to the label for more details on mixing for outdoor areas also. Your cat should not be present during the application and while the surfaces are wet. Once the water has dissipated and dried, your cat could return. This should only take a couple of hours.
Martins Permethrin 10% may be used to treat dogs over 12 weeks of age for fleas, ticks, mange, and lice (do NOT apply permethrin products on cats). Per the product label, you should mix 8 oz. in 12.5 gallons of water, which would break down to 0.64 ounces per 1 gallon of water.
