If you have ant mounds, you can also use this product as a mound drench. Maxforce Complete is a great bait for listed ant species which are foraging for protein-based foods. Granular ant baits neeed to be applied to dry ground and allowed to remain dry as long as possible for best results.

According to several university websites, Maxforce Complete Granular Bait is effective, though usually baiting will only eliminate about 30% of a large colony in one treatment and several applications will be necessary. Deltagard G Granules are also an option. The product label recommends treating mounds directly and lightly watering the granules in. Again, it may take several treatments for complete eradication.
