The Ramik ground squirrel bait works. This sets it apart from many others out there. I use the special feeders that exclude other critters who you might like having around. DoMy Own has those on the same site page. DoMyOwn is awesome. We've had so many squirrels coming from our neighbors. It takes a little while for them to disappear but all our produce is not being eaten like it was.
