Product Overview

Neogen Ramik Ground Squirrel Bait is an ideal solution to squirrels that destroy ornamental plants and trees. It is specially formulated to control California Ground Squirrels because it contains a first generation active ingredient Diphacinone which effectively targets ground squirrels. This powerful rodenticide has food processing technology that makes the bait palatable and attractive. It remains effective, sweet, and fresh, attracting squirrels even after long exposure. Its no wax nugget formulation makes the bait weather-resistant and long-lasting. Highly suggested to use within 100 feet of a man-made structure and it does not require an operator license to apply. Packaged in a 4-lb. resealable pouch.

    All most perfect

    By Papa on 10/19/2019

This product seems to work pretty good the ground squirrels love to eat it, but the only trouble is the company says it takes 3or4 days for them to expire so you are still feeding the trap and using more than you would need to if they would expire over night or less than the 3or4 days. It will cost more for the final results but still they will be gone ????????

Squirrels Eat Them Up - BUT...

    By Ken on 02/02/2020

Squirrels Eat Them Up - BUT... none of them have died or even seem sick. I'm halfway through the bag, but I suspect the rest of it won't make a difference.

    Very happy

    By Mike on 10/18/2019

The Ramik ground squirrel bait works. This sets it apart from many others out there. I use the special feeders that exclude other critters who you might like having around. DoMy Own has those on the same site page. DoMyOwn is awesome. Their site is clear and easy to navigate, they tell you if the product is in stock and, if not, lets you sign up to be notified when it is, they take credit cards directly , and FREE SHIPPING. All winners in my book.

Q
I live in So.Calf. The squirrels eat the Neogen Ramik Ground Squirrel Bait as quick as I can put it out. But they haven't died.

It's been two weeks now and no squirrels have died..what could the problem be? Thanks

A

What kind of stations are you using the ground Neogen Ramik Ground Squirrel Bait in? Two weeks is not enough time for an entire squirrel population to be reduced, and unless you are tracking each individual squirrel you would not know whether some have died from the bait or not. Most animals will try to get somewhere safe when the poison starts to affect them, which includes down in their burrows and holes in the ground. If they are going to those areas and dying you would not be able to see them or keep track of how many have died from the poison so far.

Per the manufacturers use instructions: Apply 2 to 4 pounds of bait per bait station. Replenish bait stations as necessary to maintain a continuous supply of bait but not to exceed 4 pounds of bait in any bait station. Continue baiting until there no longer are signs of new feeding on bait by California ground squirrels.
