Onslaught and NyGuard IGR can be mixed together and applied indoors and outdoors for treating fleas and safe if used as directed on the product labels. Onslaught is not labeled for use on furniture. We do carry products that can be applied to furniture surfaces such as Sterifab and BioDefense. We recommend that you use Ultracide for the indoor treatment as it can be used on all carpeted areas, pet bedding and upholstered furniture. Ultracide Spray contains Permethrin and Phenothrin to kill adult fleas fast. It also contains Methoprene (an insect growth regulator) to prevent reinfestation for up to seven months. Methoprene penetrates deep into the base of carpet and upholstery fibers, where pre-adult fleas live, and targets fleas in the egg and larval stages of development, preventing them from producing new infestations of breeding, biting adults. Be sure to thoroughly vacuum immediately before the treatment and every day for the next 14 days to help speed up flea elimination.

NyGuard IGR is a great product to use in combination with a bifenthrin product like Bifen IT. Bifen does not kill on contact but instead will leave a residual of up to 30 days to continue to kill those ticks and other insects that contact a treated area. Those that are sprayed directly will die faster of course but it can still take a few minutes up to a few hours or so to die after contact. We also have great guides here that can help.
NyGuard IGR is not labeled to control any form of bees and does not list toxicity for bees in the treated areas. We would recommend applying early morning or late evening when they are less active just to be safe.
